It’s 2025 and somehow we’re still on the topic of the royal rift. Much has indeed been said and speculated about the upcoming reunion of King Charles and one Prince Harry – the first physical meeting in over 20 months – but what is William’s take in all of this?
Yeah, we’ve already heard that he said “no, thank you” to being a part of Charles and Harry’s special meeting, which, according to some insiders, could see the father-son duo forge a path to peace moving forward. But if William were to have his way, per a royal source, Harry won’t be coming near Pa at all.
Prince Harry Reportedly Made Outrageous Demands Ahead of UK Return
This September will see Prince Harry return to the UK to participate in a charity event. However, before he gets on a plane and jets off again, he will be sparing some time to meet with his 76-year-old father.
Already, he’s reportedly submitted a list of demands that will make his UK return a much more favorable one. And curtsies and bows for Meghan doesn’t begin to describe it.
“Harry doesn’t want another trip where he feels unprotected and exposed. He wants iron-clad guarantees—not vague promises,” an insider told Jennifer Lopez’s former PR, Rob Shuter.
“Security and privacy are non-negotiable. Harry insists Meghan must be treated as HRH. That means family member must show her the formal respect of bows and curtsies. For William, that’s a hard no.”
Prince William’s Friend Brands Prince Harry/ King Charles Meeting A “Terrible Idea”
The Waleses have been said to be suspicious of Harry and his reconciliation offer from day one. Now we’re hearing William is doing his best to ensure that his father does not end up falling prey to the Sussexes’ scheme ever again.
“William was right about Andrew, and he is right about Harry,” a friend of William’s told The Daily Beast. “Charles is weak. William is anything but weak.”
“Ultimately, William is a loyal soldier. He respects his father’s rank, and he respects his father’s right to make his own decisions, and he won’t make a fuss if it happens,” they said. “But he thinks a Harry meeting is a terrible, terrible idea.”
Good to know.
