Prince Harry Has ‘Regrets’ and Wishes He Treated His Family Differently

According to an insider, Prince Harry has now come to the realization that he hasn’t always approached matters with his family in the best possible way. This is coming after the 40-year-old Duke reunited with his father for the first time in over 19 months.

Prince Harry Wants To “Reset” Relationship With Family

Prince Harry is reportedly now so willing to get back in his family’s good graces that he would even forego the public apology he feels his wife Meghan Markle is entitled to.

The Prince first disclosed his wishes to be closer to his family during his May BBC interview. Soon after that, two of his staff members met with King Charles’ head of communications to go over any necessary reunion details.

This September, the long-awaited reunion happened, even though it curiously lasted for less than an hour.

“It’s become clear that Harry now regrets some of his actions. He wants to reset his relationship with his family and with the people of the UK,” an insider told the Mail.

“It’s hard to see him ever coming back to live in Britain, but this may be the start of something that at least allows them to be a functioning wider family again.”

In addition to Harry’s eagerness to re-establish ties with his family, Charles is also said to be keen on being closer to his Montecito-based grandchildren.

The same source added: “The King wants to be a grandfather to his grandchildren, so that’s an important pull. He was so pleased when they came over for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, and he was able to spend some time with them.”

The complication that remains is that Harry had lost his security case, and according to his former Royal Highness, he won’t be bringing his kids over unless adequate security is provided, the insider explained.

At present, whilst Harry makes moves to reunite with his family, we’re yet to actually learn whether the Duchess of Sussex – the wronged one, if you’d recall – actually agrees.
