Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, might be gearing up for a trip to the UK, if reports are to be believed. And I’m not talking about the type of trip they made last time in 2022, when they stayed just long enough for tea time with the now late Queen Elizabeth.

There’s a lot to process and unpack with this latest development. Okay, Prince Harry flew back to the UK this September for some charity events.

However, during that time, he made some time to meet up with his dear old dad, who he hasn’t physically seen for 19 months prior.

It was a 50-minute meeting, which was the wonder, though things must have gone so smoothly because the next thing we know, a friend of Harry’s is telling us he wants to bring the kids over to see King Charles.

All good and fine, is it not, especially since it was Harry himself who proclaimed that life is short and reconciliation should triumph over whatever rift has torn a family apart.

Nevertheless, this latest news that the kids may not be coming back for a visit, but coming to stay, feels a bit off.

The speculation originally started when singer Joss Stone revealed that the Prince was very interested in knowing more about why he, Stone, chose to return from abroad and educate his children in the UK.

“He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children,” the singer told Hello!. “It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back.”

Stone then proclaimed, “He asked about how we were settling back in. He’s just very warm and down to earth, as always. Maybe Harry will move back too. That would be nice.”

Following his chat with Stone, an insider told The Daily Mail that Harry is seriously considering bringing his children back to the UK strictly for school purposes.

“I can tell you that Harry wants to educate the children here in the UK,” the source said, adding that Harry has reasons for his “fascinating” plan.

One of them is that he “feels his children are missing out on the extensive family network that their niece and nephews are enjoying.”

Another is that “he has retained his closest friendship group of confidants from his days at school at Ludgrove and Eton” and wants his children to have that.

Having lost his case for security, it makes one wonder, doesn’t it?
