Can a relationship deteriorate worse than a father not picking his son’s calls? A royal expert thinks so.
The aftermath of the BBC interview might just possibly be that Prince Harry has killed off any remaining chances he has of being allowed back in to the royal in-crowd.
The mindset is said to currently focus on how much he’s said and leaked through the years, and anyone can admit that he’s said and leaked enough already as it is.
Prince Harry Has Finally Proven Exactly Why He Can’t Be Trusted
With the impromptu BBC interview, Prince Harry has proven that he lets his emotions get the better of him, thus further clearing any doubt on anybody’s mind on why he shouldn’t be trusted with delicate matters.
If you don’t want ‘Spare 2.0’ dropping on your laps, just know that King Charles doesn’t want it more. Frankly, the first one was already very damaging as it is.
“I think it will confirm the king’s view that he is not to be trusted. The previous attempts by the Sussexes to monetize their royal connections led to the deep rift that exists,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Us Weekly exclusively. “His comments on the monarch’s health are unlikely to have gone down well either.”
The comments in question were said by Prince Harry when he suggested that he’s open to reconciling with his family because he doesn’t know how long his father has yet to live.
His actual statement goes like this: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
The said father, King Charles the III, is currently battling with cancer, and you can imagine the panic these words might incite and why it could easily be taken the wrong way.
Prince Harry’s Reconciliation Call Declared “Odd” By Royal Expert
Apart from Harry’s tactless comment about King Charles’ health, another notable point in the interview is when he declared that he’s willing and open to reconciling with his family.
Speaking on this, royal expert Christopher Andersen noted, “If Harry really wants to reconcile with his family, he has an odd way of showing it.”
He added: “If you are someone undergoing cancer treatment, to hear those words from your son would, I think, be fairly upsetting. Not exactly a resounding vote of confidence in your chances of making a full recovery.”
