Many people believe from tabloid media that there’s a deep divide between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Apart from that, in the opinion of a royal commentator, there are issues with their various public ventures as well. Notably, it could lie in the fact that they simply focus on short-term opportunities.
Comparing William & Harry
Royal Commentator Neil Sean talked about it on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Saturday this weekend. In it, he compared Harry and his wife to Prince William who plans for a long-term future. In his opinion, Markle and the youngest son of Princess Diana’s current approach is unsustainable.

Graphically, he described them as a “spinning globe.” Then, he opined that “they don’t know what to do with themselves.” Sean claimed that Prince Harry has never had to make many decisions historically. Meanwhile, he called Meghan “just a former actress.”
Little Contact With The Palace
Sean pointed to a specific incident to make his point. He said Harry’s recent trip to Canada wasn’t coordinated with the royal palace. Actually, it could have helped if he’d contacted Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace. However, Sean claimed no record of Harry contacting them exists. Allegedly, the palace asked Harry for details, but he hadn’t responded at the time of the vlog.
The whole problem with short-term plans and off-the-cuff ventures, Sean believes, stems from Meghan Markle. Clearly, in his opinion, he believes that Meghan is influencing Harry’s behavior. Going further, he opined that Harry is “operating under the thumb screw of Meghan Markle.” And, he predicted the uncoordinated actions will continue.
Two Princes On Different Paths
Folks probably understand that Prince William received different training from his brother. After all, you cannot have a monarch who just decides to go somewhere without planning and forethought.
Meanwhile, Harry, who wasn’t close in line to the throne, who probably thought he had a role for life as a hand-shaker, didn’t need to learn as much about PR and priorities.
Viewers React
Those who follow Neil Sean often agree with his opinions and those of his cited sources. And this time, they agreed that coordination by Prince Harry is not only polite, but also important. And, lot of them felt annoyed that it seems as if Harry acts like he’s still officially a part of the Firm.
One of them wrote, “The Palace needs to issue a formal statement that Harry and Meghan are not representing the Monarchy, in any form, and are private citizens. Any actions or commitments made are SOLELY their own.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion area:
- The Palace needs to notify all the Commonwealth to advise he does not represent the UK or the RF. He is a loose cannon and as an Australian I don’t want one cent spent on his security or him looking at any of our military installations.
- Harry REFUSES to learn. He keeps playing a game he has already lost, imo. No one should believe ANYTHING either of these compulsive liars say. People should just mock them for their horrible behavior
- The King needs to inform all Royal Regiments, all Commonwealth Government’s etc, that Harry is not representative of the Monarchy and as such should not be given any access to any such establishments etc.no more pretending to be in the RF Harry, you wanted OUT so get out and stay out!
