Meghan’s Paris Ride Near Diana’s Crash Site Sparks Outrage Online

If you see Meghan Markle right in the center of another hot backlash, just know that she might have walked into that one all her own.

The Duchess was a sight to behold when she made her Paris fashion week debut in an all-white ensemble, that’s a blend of chic and daring. You may call it a bedsheet or a blanket, but she’s not totally off the money on the look either.

Later on, she switched into a black ensemble, and that one said things too, didn’t it?

But the big problem did not start until she was heading back to her hotel after a day’s hard work.

Meghan Markle’s Latest Video Deemed “Insensitive Beyond Belief” By Royal Expert

On her way back from the show, Meghan decided to do a lil video to commemorate her time in Paris.

You see, the Duchess, 44, shared a video where she crossed several of France’s tunnels, which more or less were very close to Pont d’Alma tunnel, where Princess Diana, boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed, and driver Paul Henri died in a car crash. Harry has since associated that particular site to his trauma.

What did Meghan do?

She filmed a video of herself with her feet up inside the car as she passed bridges, including the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides.

The next bridge along the Seine is the Pont d’Alma, next to the aforementioned Pont d’Alma tunnel, where the Princess famously lost her life in the August of 1997.

This, of course, sparked fan outrage as many accused her of knowingly creating drama, in the hopes of rivaling her royal counterpart Princess Catherine, who has simply dominated headlines these past few weeks.

“Why would she film the place his mother died? Moreover, why would she post it on social media for the world to see? Why?” a disgruntled fan wrote.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams joined in on calling it “insensitive” and “utterly bewildering.” And while admitting that Meghan would not have meant any harm, he firmly pointed out that her actions must have stemmed from “complete absence of thought.”

Nevertheless, Meghan seemed to have had a great time in Paris, supporting Balenciaga’s new creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

“About last night. Thank you @pppiccioli and @balenciaga I’ve missed you France – thanks for the love,” she shared with her followers on Instagram.
