King Charles grew up enjoying a family tradition that dates back hundreds of years, but in recent times, it fell away. Now, it looks like he’s revamping it, but it won’t include his estranged son, Prince Harry, or his family with Meghan Markle. Read on for more details.
The Old Tradition Explained
The news about the old tradition arrived from Neil Sean, an expert. On his Daily Headline News this weekend, he explained that what happened was influenced by Harry’s brother, Prince William. The family traditionally gathered together every summer, but it hasn’t happened recently.
Neil explained that “His Majesty the King is finally going to relent and bring back a tradition that some people might say has been long overdue.” According to a source, the annual holiday together ended because Charles was loath to “upset his youngest son.” However, after a lot of “gentle persuasion” from Prince William,“It’s set to come back.”
Happy Holidays In The Past
The annual holiday break, which gave the monarch time to chat with the extended family members, meant that all the kids and the adults were seen in photos. Royal Family lovers enjoyed seeing that happen. Usually, they went to Balmoral. In fact, the Queen even invited Meghan Markle there once.
Well, that won’t happen this time. So, you won’t see even the back of the head pictures of Harry and Meghan Markle’s children. Anyway, even if Charles invited them, Markle would likely refuse to attend with her children.
Neil reminded his viewers that King Charles always hoped that Harry might have “come forward at some point and at least brought some of the children up to Balmoral.” However, it seems extremely unlikely that will ever happen as they are determined to keep their kids well away from their great-grandfather.
