King Charles Doesn't Want Princesses Beatrice And Eugenie To Suffer For Their Parents' Misdeeds

Last month opened up a floodgate of drama for the Royal Family, as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson faced back-to-back controversies regarding the nature of their associations with Jeffrey Epstein.

At some point, these controversies grew so enormous that King Charles was forced to formally strip Andrew of all his royal titles. However, he did it in such a way that Andrew’s two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, get to keep theirs.

King Charles Sympathizes With Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie And Doesn’t Want Them To Feel Like Royal Outcasts

King Charles reportedly does not want Beatrice and Eugenie to pay for the sins of their father. According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, the King is determined to protect his nieces from the costs of their parents’ deeds.

This is why, even after Andrew has lost his titles, they not only continued to retain theirs, but also attend royal events.

For example, Eugenie marked her first royal event since the Andrew thing by appearing at an engagement for the King’s Foundation – an organisation originally founded by King Charles – this November. There, she posed for pics with members of the foundation’s 35 under 35 network event.

This is obviously a touching show of support from the King, who is said to value the beauty of family connections.

“What it means to my mind, is that the king is determined to embrace his nieces, both Beatrice and Eugenie and bring them into the royal fold in a way where they don’t feel they’re just being gratuitously pulled in, but they’re actually doing something for it,” Seward told The Sun.

“Eugenie’s very knowledgeable about art. She works for, and has done for many years now, worked for a very important international gallery, Hauser & Wirth. I think that Charles feels quite responsible for these two girls, because it’s been a hideous time for them. Really hideous.”

She continued: “They’ve both got young children, and I know they’ve got supportive husbands, but they’ve both got young children, and I think it’s been very, very difficult.”

Seward further opined that Charles doesn’t want them to feel “lucky” just to be invited to a Christmas lunch. He really wants them to feel that they belong, which, per Seward’s observations, is something that’s very important to the sisters.
