Janelle Brown and her daughter, Maddie Brown Brush, from Sister Wives obtained land for a flower farm in North Carolina. However, as time goes by, TLC fans are convinced it’s already a failure. Read on to find out why.

The Flower Farm Is Dead In The Water?

Fans were so excited for Janelle when they found out about TAEDA Farms. And, they certainly wished her and Maddie Brown a lot of success. However, as time goes by, it seems that it’s still just a dream, and likely to remain just that.

Fans really wanted a success story for them. But this weekend, on Reddit, disappointing news earned the reality TV stars some backlash. Sharing some screenshots, the OP decided that it won’t amount to anything more than an excuse to sell some merch.

In part, they wrote:

I never believed in then (sic) tbh lol. They have a horrible history and Madison keeps popping out babies like she’s trying to repopulate the world. Who has the time to build a farm from the ground up? How many years has it been now guys? Do they even have the permits.

More Criticism

Additionally, the OP questioned the location depicted in a screenshot, wondering if it was the actual farm site or simply Brown’s backyard. They also wondered about the project’s viability, saying, “if they don’t even know what’s allowed in their own backyard, how do you expect them to build a farm?” They described the situation as “a mess” and admitted they felt irritated about it.

Furthermore, the blog that Maddie runs made them a bit surprised because the content mainly focuses on “tributes to Janelle and stories about motherhood” rather than expected farm-related topics like “gardening tips” or “fun planting ideas.”

Fans React With Concern

It’s not a nasty diss, because TLC fans have high hopes for Maddie and Janelle Brown. But, fuelled by disappointment, one of them said, “We all knew this was coming. Janelle is not built for farming. This isnt the kind of thing you get good at easily….but did anyone think Janelle is going to be out farming? I didnt. They really just want to sell homestead decor.”

Here are a few more responses:

  • If Janelle was a highly active person and maybe even younger, it might be more believable. Its just not.
  • Yeah it’s hard to get pretty basic projects done on my property in addition to keeping my regular life going. Godspeed to Janelle but this isnt work for a middle aged woman.
  • They need to hire people or rent land out to people who know how to farm and ten pose in it….making a full living farming it yourself with only a history of back yard farming. Slim chance.

What Was The Problem?

One of the screenshots showed that the two women experienced a lot of problems. Permits and other issues in North Carolina led the duo, along with Maddie’s husband, Caleb, to rather develop the backyard. They plan on doing some vegetables and revamping the old “chicken coop.”
