General Hospital’s Anna knows there is something her granddaughter is not telling her about her time at Berkeley, but why is Emma still keeping it all a secret? We think we know.
General Hospital’s Emma Aspires to Be Anna
When Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) recently told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that she has more in common with her than she does with her parents, it was a sweet moment, but also a very telling one.
We had already gotten a hint that tween Emma could be as good a super spy as her grandparents when she went on a caper with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna several years back. We saw her as a future WSB agent then, so maybe the time has arrived.
Anna began suspecting that Emma was leaving something out of her story when Anna met Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) at The Savoy.
Anna’s spidey sense immediately told her that it wasn’t just a coincidence that a professor from Berkeley was now in Port Charles, arriving right around the time that Emma did.
Not only that, but Emma is in his class and is applying to be his research assistant. Coincidences like that don’t happen in Anna’s world.
What Kind of Game is Jack Playing?
Is it possible that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) recruited both Emma and Josslyn Jacks at WSB agents, but didn’t tell the other one? Perhaps Emma has also been told she has to get that research assistant position or else.
It would be like Jack to pit the two young women against each other. He also might feel he got one over on Anna by recruiting her beloved granddaughter into the agency.
As Anna does more investigating, she might be the first one to figure out what Jack has been up to with these two young women.
She might understand why Jack chose Emma as a recruit, but we can’t wait to see the look on her face when she learns that Josslyn, of all people, was now a secret agent.
She might even think that Jack has lost his mind. At least it would solve the mystery of what happened to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Tune in to new episodes of General Hospital on ABC to see how these stories play out.
