General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, May 9 tease blackmailing threats, fierce mama bears, and shady deals!

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) strikes back with blackmailing threats, Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) a fierce mama bear and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is presented a shady deal!

Blackmailing Threats

At Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) office at the hospital, Drew confronts her with blackmailing threats! (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Now having the intel that Portia was the one who ordered Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to procure the ketamine he was drugged with, Drew’s got the upper hand.

He tells an uncomfortable Portia “we’ve barely scratched the surface of what you’re going to do!”

Drew sounds like he’s got some things he’s blackmailing Portia into doing in exchange for her silence. Pot, meet kettle-there’s no one who’s on the right side of the fence in this situation.

Did Tracy Hear Ned Correctly?

In the meantime, back at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) acts like she wants to make sure she heard her son Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) correctly.

She has an irritated look on her face as she asks, “Mom”, or “Mob?” no doubt referring to her deal with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Ned no doubt has heard about the deal for the rare mineral that she made the Deception deal for, and she’s in cahoots with the same bunch who tried to tear down the family crypt besides-no wonder Ned’s got questions!

Press Pressure

Back at the hospital, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) confronts Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) with some questions.

It sounds like Willow’s upset about a little press pressure as she asks “You are going to publish an article about that?”

On the other hand, Curtis didn’t seem like he was surprised Drew could have been set up, in an earlier conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Perhaps Curtis, even though he doesn’t know Drew anymore like everyone else because of the cutthroat changes, is giving him the benefit of the doubt in this case.

Drew may have cheated Curtis out of a job he promised him, with Curtis cheating him back, but the article may be planned about Drew being set up.

Fierce Mama Bears

There’s nothing wrong with a fierce Mama Bear protecting her cubs, but Lulu seems to be going beyond the call of duty as she confronts Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)!

She confronts a shocked Danny as she approaches and tells him, “You and I need to get a few things straight!”

It’s really not her place considering Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has already talked to his son and he really doesn’t need Lulu’s accusations.

More than likely she’s preparing to tell him to stay away from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), as if he doesn’t already feel badly enough!

Shocking Accusations

In the meantime, Jason is still arguing with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) over Danny, and even after talking it out with Sonny, Dante’s livid.

He had mentioned that if Rocco had died Danny could be responsible for manslaughter. Jason reacts, asking Dante “You’re threatening to charge Dante with manslaughter?”

Obviously it’s not going to stand up in court when no one’s dead! And it really doesn’t qualify as “attempted manslaughter” either-Dante’s making a huger deal than he should.

Shady Deals

At Sonny’s house, after Jason, and then Dante, as well as Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) left, Sidwell showed up with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Of course, Sonny doesn’t know Jordan is on a undercover mission of her own making, and neither does Sidwell!

Sidwell tells Sonny he wants to make a deal to their mutual advantage-he wants Sonny’s piers to put the Esplanade at. Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had already denied the request, and Drew and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) pushed through a referendum.

Sonny’s needing to retire, but is he really prepared to turn his territory over to Sidwell, the person who nearly killed his late best friend Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) son?
