‘GH’ Spoilers: Willow’s Dark Secret Exposed — The Shooter Revealed & Gun Found At Liz’s House!

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that the enigma of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting may be unraveled this week.

It looks like  the firearm used could potentially be discovered at Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) residence, suggesting that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is the one who shot him.

Anna Discovers Key Evidence And Arrive With A Search Warrant

During the week of October 6-10, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will discover crucial evidence leading her to Liz’s residence. She plans to issue a search warrant, and it appears she will locate the firearm that discharged the two shots into Drew’s back.

Anna recently found out a gun belonging to the late Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) matched the bullets, prompting her to investigate all individuals with access to the Q mansion.

This included Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), whom she casually questioned in the episode aired on Friday, October 3 (without Carly’s knowledge).

However, whatever transpires in the next five days will bring Anna to Elizabeth’s home. According to the GH weekly preview, she is likely to uncover Edward’s gun.

The Weekly Preview Shows Anna Finding Something And Taking Elizabeth In

Indeed, the weekly preview shows  Anna grasping an object wrapped in white cloth, which appears to be gun-sized, suggesting that the police commissioner may recover the firearm involved in Drew’s shooting.

Anna will drag a shocked Elizabeth to the station, and although the promo hints that the nurse could be included in the Persons of Interest (POI) line-up, this seems misleading.

It’s common knowledge that Willow has been living in Liz’s house, and it’s also clear that Willow has a stronger motive to shoot Drew than Liz does.

After all, Drew is the reason Willow lost custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).

Willow Has Plenty Of Motive, And Has Been Living In Elizabeth’s House

Additionally, Drew had an affair with Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), while he was ending Willow’s marriage to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Essentially, Drew destroyed Willow’s life, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she retaliated by shooting him. Furthermore, since Willow lost custody of her children, she has become quite unstable, which adds to the situation.

Willow has been staying with Liz ever since her wedding to Drew fell apart. The fact that she lives in the house and has access to the Quartermaine mansion makes her a prime suspect in Drew’s shooting if the murder weapon is discovered in Liz’s residence.

It May Take Some Time For Anna To Put Two And Two Together Where Willow’s Concerned

Naturally, it might take Anna some time to connect the dots regarding Willow. Although she is a person of interest, the police commissioner could be confused about how Willow accessed the gun, given that she has been prohibited from the Q mansion for some time.

While she has been in the house, her visits have been closely monitored.

Nevertheless, fans are aware that Willow managed to sneak into the Quartermaine residence and stalk Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) last summer, possibly taking  Edward’s gun during that period. Anna may not grasp this immediately, but it could emerge in the coming days and weeks.

Michael Does A 180 About Letting Willow See The Kids?

Willow knows the security system inside out, so avoiding the video cameras Michael installed would  be a piece of cake for her to snatch Edward’s gun without anyone being aware.

Speaking of Michael, he has been acting quite oddly lately, making deliberate moves regarding his alibi.

This week, he will drop some surprising news on Willow and go to visit his ex-wife at her current home – Liz’s place.

Michael will completely reverse his position and agree to let Willow visit with the kids, which will shock the nurse to her very core. But is there a method behind the madness-does he have an ulterior motive?

Will Michael Set Up Willow?

Is Michael doing something kind for the mother of his children, or is he planning to reveal this good news to distract her? He’d need just  long enough to plant Edward’s gun in her room and frame her for Drew’s shooting.

This could be a significant plot on his part to eliminate Willow, as he is aware of her dangerous tendencies. And,  to retaliate for her driving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and his newborn daughter out of town.

It might also be a strategy to divert suspicion from himself if he was indeed the one who shot his Uncle Drew (twice).
