GH Spoilers: Will Britt Betray Sidwell Out Of Loyalty To The Boy She Called Ben?

General Hospital spoilers report Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is teetering dangerously close to the edge Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) keeps warning her about.

If she crosses him, she’ll face potentially deadly consequences — just like she witnessed happen to Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Of course, Britt has a little bit of leverage on her side, but gambling with it would be just that — a gamble.

Britt is furious that Sidwell stooped so low as to go after a child — and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), at that. Given how much Rocco means to her, Britt is going to have a hard time gritting her teeth and taking this one on the chin. Maybe she won’t?

 Britt Comes Clean?

Britt is struggling to keep her feelings to herself, but she doesn’t have much more room to lash out at Sidwell. He’s made himself quite clear that he isn’t in the mood for her questions or her demands.

Still, that doesn’t mend her heart when it’s breaking over Rocco being in legal trouble for something he didn’t do.

Furthermore, she could sort of vouch for the state of the lab and undo this entire mess, but she would be risking her life doing it and may not even be able to fix it if Sidwell beats her to the punch.

Will she risk everything anyway to do the right thing and protect Rocco — even if it means running to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for help?

GH Spoilers Leak Sidwell Needs Britt

Let’s not forget that Sidwell is a little bit helpless without Britt. Dalton might have been expendable and a liability, but Britt is a little more complicated. Sidwell needs her to carry out her father — Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) — work on his cold fusion project.

Without Britt, he won’t be able to see this project into fruition, and he sounds like he has a lot of energy, funds, and time invested in it.

In other words, he really can’t risk disposing of Britt, but he could isolate her away from everyone again, couldn’t he?

Rocco Needs Her More

Although Sidwell’s work is important to him, and Britt’s remission is important to her, she may have to come to a decision soon where she sees the boy she gave birth to — Rocco, then called Ben — as the most important of all of these scenarios.

If she doesn’t see Rocco as being able to squeeze out of the sticky situation he is in, she could cave and expose Sidwell’s operation for what it really is.

This would likely earn her a major role in Rocco’s life moving forward — one that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) would struggle to deny.
