GH Spoilers: Two Ways Curtis Got a Million Dollars to Kill Drew: Theft or Theft

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Curtis) is a gambling man willing to take risks. How else to explain his stunning act of commissioning Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) murder?

Fans were shocked to learn that Curtis hired a hit on Drew via mobstress Selina Woo (Lydia Look). In retrospect, it shouldn’t have been surprising—Curtis has always been a little shady.

But there are two oopsies that could come back to haunt him IF he used dirty money in his latest escapade. Let’s break down how Curtis’ impulsiveness could come back to haunt him!

1) In flashbacks fans saw Curtis and Selina meet to discuss a hit on Drew. Selina has the army to carry this out, and Drew had a million bucks to make it happen.

In online forums however, fans wondered how Curtis of all people has a million pesos floating around. He’s a bar owner and works at Aurora. On paper he’s probably worth much more, but a liquid one mill or more cooling its jets in his PC bank account?

There are two ways he conceivably could have scraped up that much: he embezzled from Aurora or he’s been doing a ton of illegal things BTS at the Savoy.

Is Curtis Flush?

How can Curtis be rolling in the dough as Aurora’s CEO—he hasn’t been there long enough. And he would be taking a chance of incurring Michael Quartermaine’s (Rory Gibson) wrath if he stole from him.

Actually, there could be two ways this could go if Curtis did indeed embezzle. One, Michael would pat him on the back and say ‘why didn’t I think of that?’ and two, he could have him arrested.

Embezzling is illegal and Curtis and Michael have had their ups and downs over the years. With the head space Michael is in now, he’s unpredictable. Like, falling for Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), really Michael?

Clearly Michael is suffering from some twisted neurons at the moment and if he were to be held accountable for Curtis’ theft, he would not hesitate to throw his CEO under the bus.

2) What has Curtis been up to in the back room at the Savoy? Selina is out of town, but that doesn’t mean illegal activity has ceased to take place.

Curtis could be running any number of things underground at his club!
