‘GH’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 23: Tracy Encounters Laura, Portia Confides In Ava, Chase Gets Bad News!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, December 23 reveal Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) encounters Laura Collins (Genie Francis) while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) confides in Ava Jerome (Maura West).

And at the Port Charles Police Department, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) gets bad news from Acting Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)!

Brook Lynn And Michael Talk At The Metro Court

At the Metro Court, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) get together for a cousinly talk.

Brook Lynn tells Michael to try to be supportive to someone, but then appears to second guess herself as she asks, “but what if it was a mistake?”

Might she be referring to Michael’s relationship with Jacinda Bracken, (Paige Herschell) or someone else entirely, possibly  a mutual family member?

It appears like the two of them are having a rather serious conversation, as Michael appears to be deep in thought. Might Michael be regretting something he said or did to a female family member or friend, is Brook Lynn implying the other female made a mistake?

Tracy Encounters Laura

Also at the Metro Court, Tracy encounters Laura-she says, “It is a big deal and I don’t like it!” Then Laura is shown saying, “Don’t sound so surprised”.

Might Tracy be talking to Laura about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) “appropriation” of the Quartermaine family heirlooms?

Tracy and Laura both know Drew’s turned into a snake since he got out of Pentonville Prison, where he’d taken the fall for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Tracy had the heirlooms shipped to Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, while she was evicted from the Quartermaine mansion, and Drew intercepted them when they were going back!

Portia Confides In Ava

It looks like Ava is at General Hospital with Portia in her office, and Portia is confiding that she’s been subpoenaed to testify at Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial.

Ava advises Portia to say as little as is humanly possible, knowing how some lawyers trick information out of people.

Obviously, Portia’s very nervous about what she’s going to say, and what she’s going to be asked.

For all she knows, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may just want details about the bullets in Drew’s back and the surgery, since Portia jumped in to help that night to save his life.

But the thing that’s striking fear in her heart is having to use her night spent with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) as an alibi!

Portia Is Evasive On The Stand

When Portia gets to court, she is not exactly forthcoming on the stand, as a matter of fact, she’s downright evasive!

She is struggling to keep her composure as she tells Alexis, “You’re not going to get the answer that you’re looking for!”

But Alexis has been pressured by Drew to exonerate Willow at all costs, although he’d prefer she proves Michael guilty of his shooting.

Is Alexis attempting to show Portia as a viable person of interest, even though she rushed to the hospital and jumped in on Drew’s surgery? Potentially, she saved Drew’s life by helping out!

Chase Gets Bad News!

At the Port Charles Police Department, Chase gets bad news, and it looks like the bad news is coming from Dante, his superior, as Acting Port Charles Police Commissioner.

Dante is quite aware of Chase’s going the second, third, fourth and fifth miles to prove Willow innocent of Drew’s shooting. 

He’s pulled for Willow so much so, that it’s caused some minor friction in his marriage and a warning from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) before she disappeared that he wasn’t being objective.

It seems that Dante is suspecting that Chase got rid of the traffic cam footage that would have proven Willow lied about her alibi the night Drew was shot, placing her at the scene of the crime. Dante sternly says to Chase, “Tell me you’re not the one that got rid of that footage!
