GH' Spoilers Thursday, June 19: Stopgap Measures, Mixed Feelings, Danger Lurks!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, June 19 tease stopgap measures, mixed feelings, and danger lurking! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) discuss stopgap measures, while Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) shares her mixed feelings, and outside Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos’ (Levi Clark Coughlin) nursery, danger lurks!

Stopgap Measures

Josslyn and Trina are worried about what they’ve seen with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) flirting with Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Josslyn, of course is careful to keep her WSB cover intact, but with their mutual friend Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) so close to Emma, they are concerned about him too. Everyone at the Metro Court Pool who saw the interactions between Emma and Dalton were concerned there’s a lecherous professor who takes advantage of young, female students. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Josslyn says someone has to stop them, presumably meaning Dalton and Emma. Trina assures her there’s someone who will, she can count on it!

Alternate Offers

In the meantime, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) has gone to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house after the devastating news that his operation worked, but not well enough. The doctor advised that playing football or any other contact sport could be dangerous, because the titanium didn’t fuse totally to his vertebrae and another tackle could be disastrous.

Drew thinks that there might be something else he can offer Kai, but what might that be, another risky procedure, or a second opinion with a different doctor?  Or might it be another spokesman position with another Aurora program?

Mixed Feelings

Elsewhere, GH spoilers for June 19 imply that Jordan will open up to old friend Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about her awkward situation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) during the Wednesday down. She tells Anna that Curtis told her his and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) marriage is on the rocks, and she doesn’t know how she feels about it. It does seem like Jordan could still be carrying a torch for Curtis, even though she’s done her best to try and extinguish it.

Their relationship goes back so many years, first as his sister-in-law during her marriage to Tommy Ashford (uncast character) and then in their own marriage. It broke up because of Jordan keeping law enforcement secrets from Curtis, and Portia’s kept even worse secrets from him.

Family Catch-Up

Across town, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) catches up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and discusses his arrangement with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) where Daisy is concerned. Sasha and Michael had a frank talk, where he agreed to her raising the baby on her own and him not being named on the birth certificate.

However, he asked her to agree to name him as the baby’s guardian should anything ever happen to her and she okayed it. Jason asks Michael if he’s okay with that, not helping Sasha raise the baby although he’ll be in her life and she’ll know he’s her daddy. It’s obvious Michael is already in love with his new daughter, and can barely stay away from her.

Pressure Points

In other news, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) applies some serious pressure points as he demands of someone, “Do we have a deal?” It seems that he may be addressing his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) who will be conflicted over something. On the other hand, someone else in Port Charles also has a confrontation with Sidwell.

What might Marco be conflicted over that his father may be asking him to do? Jenz is very stern with his demands and means what he says!

Sonny Corinthos Demands Answers

The other person who has a confrontation with Sidwell is Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) and he’s demanding answers, so it doesn’t seem he’s in a dealmaking mood! He warns in no uncertain terms, “No one threatens my family and lives!”

Previously, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) had come across some information that one attempted assassin of Sonny had been connected to the WSB and was killed, and there was a second one. It sounds like Sonny thinks Sidwell might be the second one and he’s calling him on it.

Danger Lurks

During Wednesday’s episode, as Michael had brought Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) to the Quartermaine mansion to visit Sasha and Daisy, someone was lurking outside. They were watching the little family’s interactions through a window, and apparently either waited or returned until Michael and the kids left and Sasha went to bed. It’s dark outside now and in a darkened room it’s implied the lurker is looking down at Daisy, alone in her crib.

With Drew occupied with Kai and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) supposedly sleeping at their house, might this be Willow? Is she set to kidnap Daisy, or is this someone even more nefarious, and where is Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) when they need him?
