GH Spoilers: The Shocking Reveal Of Britt’s Twin And Rocco’s Paternity Twist

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) name has been mentioned a lot lately, and there are many questions about Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) backstory coming up.

This could indicate a significant twist is coming, especially since we know Kelly Thiebaud will return in July; we just don’t know for sure who she’s playing.

Resurrection Or Recast?

With only a few weeks left until Kelly Thiebaud returns to GH, the question remains: who will she portray; has the show found a way to resurrect Britt?

Even if they reverse her death caused by Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) hook stabbing and the poison, there’s still the issue of her having Huntington’s Disease, which has no cure.

The writers would need to claim Britt was misdiagnosed or something similar, as creating a fictional cure for a serious real-life illness would be inappropriate and likely unpopular with fans.

Or, they might cast Kelly Thiebaud as a different character; however, this seems unlikely since Britt’s name keeps coming up, and her photo is being discussed.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) hired Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) to investigate Britt’s complicated history with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

Will Britt Have A Twin?

With BLQ seeking revenge on Lulu for ruining her son Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) life, this Britt situation is clearly significant. Will they attempt to resurrect Britt with a strange rewrite of her death or if we might see a twist involving a twin of Britt Westbourne?

There have been numerous occasions where an evil twin or a doppelganger appeared unexpectedly; typically, there’s a good twin and an evil twin.

We’ve seen the Rivera brothers, Carlos and Joe (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), and the Alcazar brothers, Luis and Lorenzo (Ted King), and the Ruiz brothers, Manny and Mateo (Robert LeSardo). Those were minor cases-then, there have been some more significant ones.

Kevin And Ryan, Anna And Alex, Jason And Drew, Nelle And Willow

We are aware of the kind-hearted Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and his sinister twin, the serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (also Jon Lindstrom).

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) along with her malevolent twin Alex Devane (also Finola Hughes) were quite the pair as well. Those were identical twins, but there are a couple of pairs of non-identical ones too.

There’s the deranged Nell Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and the gentle yet impressionable Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Then we have Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his twin Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who were originally identical until Ava Jerome (Maura West) ran over Drew and he had plastic surgery.

Clone, Or Twin?

There have been some theories that NuBritt will be a clone, thanks to some hints from Daniel Goddard (Dr. Henry Dalton) about Dalton’s secret project, but she could also be a twin.

As far as good or evil, for a time, Jason appeared to be the more sinister character as a mob enforcer and hitman.

However, since his time in prison, Drew has emerged as the evil twin that everyone despises-plus Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) had a lookalike cousin.

Bill Eckert (Anthony Geary) resembled him closely, along with Luke’s darker side, you know, his personalities when he had DID. The ABC soap loves the theme of good and evil twins, secret twins, and twins we never knew existed.

A Twin Would Not Be Beyond Reason

Therefore, they could introduce a twin for Britt to bring Kelly Thiebaud back, and perhaps this twin has information regarding the Rocco situation. It’s entirely possible since we met Britt as a fully developed adult, and there aren’t many details about her backstory.

Plus, it was Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) mother Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) who separated her twins, and she was Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) older sister.

There have been occasional references to her childhood-naturally, she was aware of her mother, Liesl and her father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Therefore, it wasn’t as if she was unaware of her parents or anything.

Britt’s Brothers-Actually, She Had A Brother Raised As A Cousin And A Half-Brother Too

Britt had a brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), who was raised as her cousin. He was brought up by her aunt, Madeline, who was also a bit crazy, because Liesl wanted to protect Nathan from Faison’s terrible influence.

Then there was Faison’s mini-me, Peter August (Wes Ramsey)- Britt knew Nathan, even though they weren’t actually raised as siblings. So, who can say that Liesl didn’t have twins and raised one separately from Britt?

Or maybe Madeline sold one, just like she did with Willow and Nelle; there are many possibilities.

Britt’s Evil Twin?

Liesl had a fixation on Faison for some time, but he was always focused on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), which drove Dr. O mad. It would be great if Britt had a twin who was even more wicked than she was at her worst- ‘The Britch’ was a villain but she wasn’t purely evil.

Faison wanted her to be, but Britt never satisfied her father’s expectations in that regard.

Then, of course, he died after killing his son Nathan-by the time Britt died, she had become a good person; she had stopped her scheming and all her devious ways. So, it would be incredibly entertaining if Britt’s terrible twin showed up and shocked everyone in Port Charles.

Will Brook Lynn Discover Rocco’s Really Britt’s And Patrick’s?

So, while Brook Lynn and Marco are looking into Britt, they might discover she has a twin we weren’t aware of.

This could reveal another shocking detail about Rocco, as his background is intricately linked to Britt, something he likely doesn’t even realize. I mean, who would share the strange tale of his birth with Rocco; and could things change with Kelly Thiebaud’s return?

We all know Brook Lynn hired attorney Marco to investigate Britt-did some digging and came to update her but he’s also wondering why she’s interested in Britt since she’s deceased.

Brook Lynn explained to Marco that she intends to show Lulu isn’t the mother she claims to be. Then, Brook Lynn shared how Britt was eager to have a child with her then-boyfriend Patrick and ended up pregnant.

Could Rocco Be Emma’s Half-Brother Instead Of Charlotte’s?

So GH could spin it that the embryo Britt took from Lulu and Dante didn’t take, or the test was falsified, and she was really pregnant by Patrick, giving Rocco a different sister.

It’s similar to when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was a surrogate but ended up pregnant by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), you know, for Lulu. Viewers should recall that hilariously convoluted storyline.

But if Britt really did get pregnant by Patrick, that would mean Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Rocco are half siblings, instead of him and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

If they manage to change Rocco’s paternity, it would devastate Lulu; that would mean his only son is Gio!
