General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) might make a move on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), potentially raising several red flags.

After all, while everyone is rejoicing over the return of Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) long-lost son, fans can’t shake the feeling that something seems amiss.

Britt Should Have Been Ecstatic Over Her Brother’s Resurrection

Moreover, Britt’s attempt to prevent James West (Gary James Fuller) from meeting his father for the first time raises questions about whether the man in the hospital bed is genuinely Nathan West.

Fans of General Hospital are unable to dismiss the notion that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) might still be alive. This suspicion is fueled by Britt receiving medication accompanied by a note signed ‘C’.

That,  along with the lab research project led by Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton (Daniel Goddard) at PCU, and Britt’s activities at 5 Poppies Resort, which all seem to point back to Cesar.

The intense stare-down between “Nathan” and Britt at the hospital was quite unsettling. It’s highly likely that Nathan is actually Cesar, possibly through cloning, a brain transplant, or some other twist.

However, Anna and #TeamPCHero will struggle to uncover the truth unless Britt comes forward.

Cesar Was Obsessed With Anna Throughout His Life

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Cesar had a lifelong obsession with Anna-she was his weakness, and not only was he deeply in love with her, but he also found her incredibly attractive.

Cesar couldn’t pass up a chance to be alone with her, which explains why he kidnapped her multiple times during their youth. Additionally, she was the reason he was apprehended by the authorities on several occasions.

In contrast, Nathan and Anna were just friends, as it’s well known that Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) is the true love of his life.

So, picture the shock on everyone’s faces if ‘Nathan’ were to make a move on Anna or even flirt with her. Maybe he would remark on her beauty – something along those lines.

Nathan’s Flirtation With Anna Would Definitely Be A Slip Up!

This would certainly be a blunder on “Nathan’s” part, and the first indication that the Nathan lying in that hospital bed was not the same beloved Nathan who passed away in 2018.

However, perhaps “Nathan” makes a signature Cesar remark or recalls a memory with Anna, which could utterly shock the PCPD commissioner.

Naturally, depending on what “Nathan” says to Anna, he might dismiss it as a joke or feel a bit “off” due to the crash and his current state.

Nevertheless, it would be enough to trigger Anna’s instincts that something is amiss. Nathan showing interest in Anna beyond friendship would certainly be an intriguing hint that Cesar has somehow taken control of his body, making it fascinating to see how this storyline unfolds.
