General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, October 13 tease blindsiding surprises, fearful warnings, and a step in the right direction!
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) delivers a blindsiding surprise, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) a fearful warning, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) thinks there’s a step in the right direction.
Blindsiding Surprises
Curtis seeks out Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), with a blindsiding surprise for her-it’s a 180-degree turnaround from previous conversations. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
He had told Portia that now that he’s sure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has nothing on them for leverage, they should go ahead and get divorced.
Now he seems to have changed his mind, or at least he wants some more time to think about it; Portia looks dismayed when he speaks his piece.
He tells her he thinks they should hold off on the divorce, and of course, that could be a big problem considering her delicate condition.
She’s seven weeks pregnant but doesn’t know whether he’s the baby’s father, or if Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is-at least she knew Trina wasn’t Marcus Taggart’s (Réal Andrews) all along!
Fearful Warnings
In the meantime, Trina is with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), and she looks extremely fearful as she gives him a warning. The fear is all over her face and in her eyes, and it alarms Kai as he sees it-she says, “This could put a target on my parents”!
Kai and Trina are playing detective, and it seems they detect something that could be dangerous, if in the wrong hands-or mouth!
It’s evident that Curtis and Portia must be associated with the mysterious find somehow; is it a document, photos, or what?
Will they destroy the item like they did the papers from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) safe, or will they handle it another way this time?

Needed Things
It looks like Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) has found a place to live, or someone has found one for him now that he’s been released from the hospital.
But he tells someone that there’s one more thing that he needs; might he be talking about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) or perhaps their son, James West (Gary James Fuller)?
Or maybe he’s talking about something else-perhaps a few new clothes, unless Maxie couldn’t bear to give away his old ones!
Certainly Nathan’s family in Port Charles will supply whatever he needs, at least those things that they can. Unfortunately, Maxie’s quick healing and return to Port Charles isn’t one of them!

A Step In The Right Direction
It looks like Nina might be at Bobbie’s with Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) as she notes, “This is a step forward in the right direction”.
It’s likely that the two are discussing Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) unexpected decision to let Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have time with their kids.
She’s only allowed one hour a week with Wiley and Amelia Corinthos, (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) in family therapy, but she took it.
Michael implied that he would be in the sessions along with her and their two children, along with the therapist.
Carly may or may not agree that it’s a step forward in the right direction, since she doesn’t think the children need to be around looney Willow at all!

Willow’s Still Not Arrested
In Friday’s episode, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) appeared to have found the missing gun from Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) collection in Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house.
Anna wanted to bring her in for questioning but also asked where her houseguest was-so far, Willow’s not been questioned about this. She’s at the hospital talking to Drew in his hospital room at the time, obviously at work since she’s in her scrubs.
Drew didn’t trust Michael’s change of heart in offering Willow the chance to spend an hour a week with her children in family therapy-he thought it was a trap. He says to Willow, “It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when!”

Sonny Has Questions For Michael
Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is on high alert as he asks Michael, “Do you know something I don’t know?”
They seem to be talking about Michael’s being a major person of interest in the case surrounding Drew’s shooting, although several people actually are.
The heat seems to be more on Willow than anyone else at the time; however, since Anna has security video of Willow not being where she claimed at the time of the shooting.
It’s probably not time for Michael to get too cozy however, as the active investigation is still ongoing, it’s not come to a conclusion.
