GH Spoilers Monday, May 5: Pleasant Surprises, Doubtful Idiots, Wakeup Calls!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, May 5 tease pleasant surprises, doubtful idiots, and wakeup calls!

Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) pleasantly surprised, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) a doubtful idiot, and an unconscious Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) receives a desperate wakeup call!

Pleasant Surprises

At Lulu’s house, she and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were concluding a rather hefty argument when Dante told her something totally unexpected.

First he accused her of not moving on past him, and she accused him of (justifiably) being hung up on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

It wasn’t a sharp dig on Lulu’s part realizing Sam lost her life partly because of saving hers-just a reality check for Dante.

He admitted he still loves both her and Sam, and Lulu went from shock to pleasantly surprised. She tells him that might have been the last thing she expected he would say!

Lost And Found

At the beach where the college kids and two underage teen boys gathered for a beach party, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) tells Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) her thumb drive’s gone.

This, of course is the thumb drive with all of her schoolwork on it that Josslyn stole for her WSB mission, and she didn’t get a chance to replace it with the fake corrupted one.

Josslyn will do her best to deflect, and of course she looks properly shocked-perhaps this is her chance to save her mission and kill two birds with one stone.

Will she pull out the corrupted thumb drive and ask Emma if that is it…she tripped over it in the sand?

Collection Calls

Brad is at the hospital, and it looks like he may be addressing Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) as he says he’s come to collect.

Might he have something to do with procuring the ketamine that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was high on at the Savoy, at Portia’s request?

Brad doesn’t want to be blamed for it since Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is now at the hospital.

Drew and Willow had come to GH, Drew getting his blood tested to see if he was drugged. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) had delivered the results of the blood test.

Doubtful Idiots

Willow is obviously having her doubts about Drew, as she asks Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) if she’s an idiot for believing him.

Perhaps not for believing him over his allegations of being drugged, but there are plenty of other things that need to be addressed!

For one, Drew being behind interfering with her going to see Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell) in Baden-Baden.

But, there are plenty of other reasons not to believe Drew or to trust him as well-her hero is a zero!

Sharing Knowledge

In the meantime, back at GH, Drew is still talking to Mac-he’d called him when he found out there was ketamine in his system, a recreational drug.

Mac is asking for information from Drew that could help him solve the case. It sounds like Drew is going to do some investigation on his own as well, by the way he answers Mac.

Later in the week, Drew will get some helpful intel on the situation. But for now, he tells Mac that when he knows, then Mac will too.

Ugly Confrontations

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) confronts Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about the adoption she recently learned about from Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton). She’s very ugly about it and Lois looks scared as she shouts, “That’s why you gave that baby up for adoption”!

It sounds like Tracy gets out of Brook Lynn that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was the father of the baby.

Of course, when Brook Lynn and Dante’s baby was born Dante didn’t even know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was his father, he didn’t find that out until he was an adult!

But that might not stop Tracy from accusing Lois of giving the baby up because of possible danger from being Sonny’s grandson!

Wise Counsel

It sounds like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could be talking to either Lulu or Willow as she says to someone “You’re going to regret it for the rest of your life!”

She’d be talking to Willow about trusting Drew, whereas she might be talking to Lulu about not telling Dante about the baby given up.

Carly, too was given up for adoption by Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) when she was very young, and GH history reveals how that turned out.

Carly knows from experience, as Lulu’s mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) does about what an adopted child feels when they find out they’re adopted and who their parents are.

It depends on the circumstances of why they were given up and who their parents are and what they did as to how they’d feel about it.

Wakeup Calls

Back to the beach, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has found Rocco passed out on the beach, possibly having hit his head on the way down.

He drank a lot of grogs, which he may have misunderstood were a nonalcoholic punch, but now Danny can’t wake him up-he keeps shaking him and saying “come on, wake up”!
