'GH' Spoilers Monday, May 19: New Intel, Panic Time, Putting Things Off

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, May 19 tease new intel, panic time, and putting things off. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) get new intel, it’s panic time for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) advises to put things off.

Making Things Worse?

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) questions her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). She asks how would something make things worse for Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza)?

Gio’s recently been through the wringer with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and his accusations. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Even Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) says it’s wrong for Dante to hold Gio responsible for him going to the college beach party and getting dangerously drunk. Might Brook Lynn be thinking about going to Dante and giving him a talking to for lashing out at Gio?

Gio Can Stand On His Own!

In the meantime, Gio speaks up to someone, reassuring them that he can stand on his own. He could be involved in Brook Lynn and Tracy’s conversation, letting them know he doesn’t need their help in the situation.

As a matter of fact, if the subject at hand is Dante’s unfair treatment of him, he doesn’t care-or at least he says he doesn’t. He has been worried about Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) take on the situation, although he got reassurance from Sonny.

Gio did take to heart Dante’s attack about his being an adult and he should be more responsible, although it really wasn’t his fault about Rocco.

New Intel

Elsewhere, Lulu and Cody continue their conversation about her suspicions that Gio is Dante and Brook Lynn’s son.

Lulu tells Cody she’s not stopping until she has proof, and she’s looking for information on where Gio’s adopted mother Camila Palmieri (uncast) was when Gio was born. She’s already dug up that Brook Lynn gave birth on May 15, not June 4 as Gio says his birthday is.

Apparently Cody and Lulu find some information on the late Camila that gives them what they need. Camila was a famous violinist with the New York Philharmonic who frequently went on tour.

Curtis Confronts Drew

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has shown up at Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office, where Curtis called him to come to talk. Drew tells Curtis he has the situation under control, but Curtis is suspicious he’s blackmailing Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

She’s become Drew’s cheerleader, inexplicably, and asked him to not publish the Aurora article he planned about Drew doing body shots with ketamine in his system!

That’s likely the situation Drew’s referring to when he says he’s got it under control-as for Curtis, he’ll confront Drew!

Panic Time

Sasha has reason to panic as she has been subpoenaed by Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and she’s freaking out to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

They are both well aware of the custody battle over Michael Corinthos’ (most recently Chad Duell) children.

It’s easy to guess why Sasha’s panicking, but how would Ric know that Sasha and Michael spent the night together?

Is Ric planning to expose the theory-actually the truth-that Sasha is pregnant with Michael’s child as a further maneuver to grant Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew full custody?

Why else would Ric, who is representing Willow in the custody fight over Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) want her to testify?

Putting Things Off

In the meantime, Sonny has reached out to Willow on his own, and now he’s telling her to put things off-he says to ask for a postponement of the June custody hearing.

This would be until Michael comes home, Sonny knowing that Michael doesn’t even know about this court date-actually, he doesn’t even know Willow came to see him!

Of course, a postponement would mess up Drew’s whole case to not allow Michael to have anything to do with his children.

Willow is clueless that Drew set the whole thing up and paid the person at the clinic to say Michael wouldn’t see her. Will Willow listen to reason from Sonny and request the postponement, or continue in blind obedience to Drew?

Nina Loses Her Cool!

Elsewhere, at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Nina has shown up in a panic concerning the custody case, and Willow’s continuing to put Drew first. She doesn’t know it’s not Michael behind the custody case and divorce, it’s Carly!

Presumably, she has been just brought up to speed on that by Carly, and Carly’s pulling no punches.

Carly likely tells her what she told Sonny, that the children will be in her custody until Michael returns, and Willow will lose custody because of being with Drew. Nina screams and hauls off and slaps her in the face, and right off her feet!
