General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, April 18 tease family welcomes, tempting offers, and prudent advice. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) gives a family welcome, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) receives a tempting offer, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gives prudent advice.
Not A Done Deal
At the Deception office, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is taken aback by a phone call as Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) watches. Maxie is stern as she tells the caller that nothing is ironclad! She’s definitely upset with the caller, and soon she’ll let Brook Lynn know what’s happening.
Whatever the caller is talking about, it’s definitely not a done deal. Sounds like it’s back to the negotiation table or the drawing board!

Family Welcomes
At the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia talks to Sasha Corbin, (Sofia Mattsson) during the Friday, April 18 episode and tells her she’s well on her way to becoming a true Quartermaine. Of course, as far as Olivia knows the baby she’s carrying is Jason Morgan’s, (Steve Burton) although it’s actually Michael Corinthos’ (most recently played by Chad Duell).
But then Michael is actually a Quartermaine and only a Corinthos by adoption; his birth father was AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). But Sasha smiles at Olivia’s family welcome, even if she’s not marrying either Jason or Michael.
Exaggerated Response
General Hospital spoilers note that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) looks skeptical during a preview clip for tomorrow’s show, as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) asks her, “Doesn’t this seem a little blown out of proportion”? The two are competing for the position of Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) assistant, but for Josslyn, if she fails it’s a blown mission!
Emma has already caught up with the class, and Dalton was impressed; Josslyn’s still studying her head off. For Josslyn, it’s a lot at stake because she has to be close to Dalton to complete her WSB mission. She hasn’t been told exactly why, but she can’t lose this assistant position-apparently it’s vital to getting intel.
A Tempting Offer
In the meantime, Jordan is with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) who’s giving her a tempting offer. She asks him what exactly does he expect her to do for him. Jordan has to be careful and remember Sidwell’s not to be trusted, and it’s going to be a fine line to walk. She has to get him to trust her, if she’s going to find out what she needs from him.
It’s bad enough that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was suspicious of her leaving the Deputy Mayor job – she doesn’t need Sidwell being suspicious! Still, Curtis hit the nail on the head about her working undercover!
Prudent Advice
At Carly’s house, she’s giving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) some prudent advice, after her previous talk with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Carly tells Sonny if he really wants to help Laura Collins (Genie Francis) he needs to get out of the way.
The whole referendum came about because of Laura and Sonny’s friendship, and Sonny owning the two piers that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) want the Esplanade on. The less connection there appears to be between Laura and Sonny, the better, at least for the time being.
Jason Morgan Confronts Sasha Corbin
In the meantime, it sounds like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might interrupt Sasha and Olivia as he arrives and confronts Sasha, during General Hospital’s April 18 episode. He wants to know why she sold out to Sidwell? Sasha had made a previous deal with Sidwell and she didn’t let Jason in on it, but apparently he’s now found out. This should be quite a conversation between the two of them.
Perhaps this is what Olivia is addressing, about Sasha being well on her way to becoming a true Quartermaine? How she’s handling herself with Jason’s confrontation?
