Eastenders Spoilers Weekly Update: Cindy’s Exposé, Ravi VS Ross, Linda’s Peacemaking

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of May 12 tease exposés, fights, mixed signals and peacemaking.

Cindy Beale (Michelle Cotton) pulls off an exposé, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiatra) and Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) fight, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) gets mixed signals and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) attempts peacemaking.

Cindy Stirs Up Trouble For Kathy

Next week, Cindy continues to stir up trouble for Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), resulting in heartbreak for Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).

As Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) gets ready for the Slater camping trip, things go awry when Jean insists on not going without her daughter Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), which frustrates granddaughter Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).

Although Harvey manages to persuade Stacey to join, Lily firmly states she doesn’t want her there.

In a fit of anger, Harvey storms off to the café in search of comfort from his secret lover Kathy, only to be met with indifference.

Stacey and Lily eventually reconcile, while the Slaters come together to create a temporary camp at home after Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) announces that the campervan is no longer an option.

Cindy’s Snooping

Harvey is consumed by guilt and makes his way to the Square, but upon returning home, Jean surprises him with a marriage proposal! Struggling to respond, Harvey leaves Jean heartbroken as she rushes to the café to share her feelings with Kathy.

When Alfie presses Harvey for answers, he remains silent, but soon he decides it’s time to reveal the truth to Jean.

However, the situation spirals out of control when Jean misinterprets Harvey’s words as an acceptance of her proposal, leading him to fabricate an excuse to escape while the Slaters celebrate.

Meanwhile, Harvey sneaks off to meet Kathy for a kiss, oblivious to the fact that Cindy is watching and has captured the entire moment on video!

Cindy’s Exposé

Cindy disrupts Kathy and Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) preparations for the welcome home party of their new grandchild.

As the family and friends come together to celebrate the arrival of Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale’s (Thomas Law) second baby, Cindy crashes the gathering at The Queen Vic.

In the meantime, Harvey and Jean are invited to the pub to make their engagement public.

Feeling isolated once more after Peter’s rejection, Cindy decides to play a video of Kathy and Harvey sharing a kiss for everyone to see!

The locals are shocked by the revelation as Jean confronts Harvey about the video, while Kathy returns home with Ian and confesses everything about her affair.

Ravi VS Ross

Ravi finds himself in a disagreement with Ross regarding their children, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) and Joel Marshall (Max Murray).

Ross and his girlfriend Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) are increasingly concerned about Joel’s behavior, prompting Vicki to urge Ross to discuss their recent findings with Ravi and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy).

However, Ross opts to talk to Avani instead. Unbeknownst to them, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) observes their conversation from a distance, growing suspicious of their secretive exchange.

When questioned about their discussion, Ross and Avani provide conflicting accounts, further fueling Suki’s doubts.

True Confessions

Vicki is compelled to disclose to Suki that Joel had an affair with Avani. Suki attempts to discuss this with Avani, but Avani abruptly leaves, prompting Suki to seek out Priya for advice.

She speaks discreetly when Ravi is nearby, but later, during a private moment with Priya, Ravi unexpectedly returns and overhears everything.

This leads Ravi to confront Joel, resulting in a brawl between Ross and Ravi. What will be the outcome?

Additionally, with Joel displaying some concerning behavior, could this be connected to the circumstances that forced him and Ross to leave Australia?

Gina Befriends Harry

Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) finds himself in a difficult situation as Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) attempts to help him. Concerned for his wellbeing, Gina confides in his parents, Nicola (Laura Doddington) and Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), when they confront her.

Teddy and Nicola visit the Arches to check on Harry, but he brushes off their worries and later confronts Gina.

She insists she hasn’t done anything wrong, and they eventually reconcile at The Vic. However, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) cautions Gina about her deepening bond with Harry.

Harry’s Mixed Signals

Throughout the week, Harry misunderstands Gina’s cues and retreats to The Vic to seek comfort with his uncle Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).

Meanwhile, Gina looks for Harry but finds herself being questioned by Billy about their recent interactions, prompting her to go to The Albert instead.

Will Gina and Harry be able to align their feelings, since Gina’s just trying to be a friend?

Given that Harry has recently uncovered the truth about Nicola killing his girlfriend Shireen Bashar (uncredited), could this be the source of the anxiety he’s bringing to those who care about him? Or is Harry becoming emotionally dependent on Gina?

Linda’s Peacemaking

In a bid to mend fences, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) seeks to persuade Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to reconcile with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

However, Linda is taken aback by Phil’s hesitance to reach out to Sharon. The situation escalates when Phil reveals that Sharon had an affair with his brother, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp).

Nevertheless, Linda remains determined to encourage Phil to communicate with Sharon, especially since they share custody of their young son, Albie Watts (Arthur Gentleman).

It seems inevitable that Phil must find a way to coexist with Sharon, despite the betrayal; will Linda be able to help Phil navigate this uncomfortable predicament?
