Her frustration grows when a preoccupied Peter steps away to take a call, while Kathy relocates the celebration to Harry’s Barn due to an issue at The Albert.

Gina recruits Mo Harris (Laila Morse), Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), and Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) for assistance, but it’s evident they are not equipped for the task.

During the party, Lauren’s worries persist, and she seeks comfort in the office following an ill-timed comment from Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Kathy To The Rescue

Kathy steps in to help, allowing Lauren to rejoin the festivities, but her joy is fleeting when Cindy shows up.

The guests are taken aback by Cindy’s unexpected return, prompting Peter to try and ease the tension-however, Lauren gives Peter an ultimatum: it’s either her or Cindy.

The Beales and Knights turn their backs on Cindy, but she strikes back by exposing Kathy’s secrets! In the wake of her guilt, Kathy seeks comfort from her secret partner, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), but they nearly get caught by Jean.

Meanwhile, Nicola’s elder son, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), wakes up with a hangover at The Arches.

Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) discovers Harry and takes him to Walford East, but things take a turn for the worse when Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) shows up. Later, Billy makes an effort to mend things with his nephew.

Jay informs Nicola and Teddy, who arrive quickly to try and address the issue. Meanwhile, Gina is increasingly convinced that something is off with Harry, and she intends to find out exactly what it is.

Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) attempts to lift Linda’s spirits, but she becomes increasingly worried about her mother, Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe), in light of the community’s response.

As the 80th anniversary of VE Day approaches, Nigel is eager to commemorate the significant occasion, but it quickly becomes clear that he is under the impression that it is still 1995.

Jean And Phil Prepare To Talk To Nigel But Change Their Minds

Jean and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) are set to have a conversation with Nigel, but Jean hesitates and enlists Phil to throw together a spontaneous party. She convinces Mo to join in the celebration, yet Linda stands her ground, insisting that The Vic remains shut.

As The Queen Vic swings back open, the people of Walford, including Nigel, come together to honor those who have fallen, particularly their own Martin. The Vic is back, but as for Nigel, he’s too far back!
