DOOL Spoilers: Jada’s Bomb, Confesses To Shooting EJ – But Is Innocent?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) was drunk the night that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was shot.

However, Jada seemed more devastated than with murder on her mind. In any case, Jada seems to have lost her police revolver.

As the investigation moves forward, Jada could get the idea that Rafe Hrenandez (Galen Gering) is guilty.

Could Jada confess, in some misdirected way of earning redemption? Keep reading and let’s talk about the possibilities!

EJ DiMera’s Shooting

The night that EJ was shot, he had a couple of confrontations. There is also everyone else in Salem who had a reason to get rid of the villain. The police first suspected Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

Then, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will grill Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). At some point, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also be questioned as well as Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow).

Missing Police Revolver

Right now, JJ and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) are the lead investigators on the case. Jada is still overseeing the case as commissioner even though she has a glaring conflict of interest. That doesn’t seem to matter in soaps.

During the week of April 14, Jada realized that her police revolver was missing. Jada flashed back to being drunk at the bar when Shawn alerted her of the high-profile shooting. Jada still hasn’t reported the missing gun, though.

Jada Hunter’s Confession

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that as the investigation continues, Jada could suspect someone else of shooting EJ. There is a chance that at one point, Jada might become convinced that Rafe shot EJ.

Jada would understand why, but could still feel the need to protect him. Jada might even blame herself for not knowing Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) was impersonating Rafe.

Going a step further, maybe Jada thinks she is the real shooter! Jada was drunk the night of the shooting and doesn’t currently know where her gun is, she could make a drastic decision without thinking it through. Especially if ballistics says it was a police revolver that was used in the crime.

Protecting Rafe Hernandez?

What if Jada confesses to shooting EJ? Jada feels incredibly guilty that she didn’t know Rafe wasn’t himself. Jada also slept with Shawn and while she is likely innocent, she also can’t remember all of that night.

There could also be a part of Jada that feels she needs to earn some kind of redemption or protect Rafe from Arnold’s aftermath.

Here’s the thing, though. We’ve seen so many times in soaps where one character confesses thinking they are protecting someone, only to have that person be innocent all along. So, if Jada didn’t pull the trigger and Rafe didn’t either, then who did?
