Conner Floyd Pokes Fun At Y&R/DOOL Swap With Billy Flynn

The land of daytime drama is always exciting, both onscreen and behind the scenes. Actor Billy Flynn shocked fans in March of this year when he announced he was jumping from Days of Our Lives, playing Chad DiMera, over to The Young and the Restless, where he recently debuted as the new Cane Ashby.

In an interesting twist of events, it was just announced that actor Conner Floyd, who plays Chance Chancellor on the Y&R, was hired on to play the recast of Chad DiMera – the role Flynn exited.

This is especially intriguing since Flynn and Floyd’s Y&R characters are currently both on canvas, in a storyline together. As such, it’s truly hilarious that Floyd recently poked fun at this via his social media.

Floyd Takes A Jab

Floyd recently uploaded a photo of himself and Flynn during a recent scene that aired on the Y&R on his Instagram Story.

The clip was of the two in the maze at Ashby’s summer home in France, and it was the clip of Cane asking for Chance’s help to investigate a possible plot to murder him.

Underneath the photo of Cane and Chance in the maze talking was that meme of the two Spidermans (cartoon), pointing at each other in an alleyway, next to the NYPD van.

This meme is quite popular on social media, especially when making fun of people looking alike or “being” alike. Billy Flynn was tagged on the IG Story.

Conner Floyd Is Already Filming

Conner Floyd began filming on Days as of Monday, June 23; however, as the Peacock soap films several months ahead of time, fans won’t see him in the land of Salem until April 2026 – just a little after Billy Flynn will be seen for the last time in the Chad DiMera role.

Salem’s loss is Genoa City’s gain (and vice versa) as these men, who do look a lot alike when you put them next to each other, play soap opera switcheroo!
