Fans were a bit surprised when Brooke and Steffy shared a warm hug on Christmas Eve, given how fraught their relationship has been over the years.

Things are being shaken up on the design front on B&B and it could provide an opening for Brooke and Steffy to form an alliance against Katie Spencer’s (Heather Tom) brand new fashion house.

Forrester Creations has been the only game in town, but with Katie’s new venture, there is sure to be competition and we are here for it. It may be time for Steffy and Brooke to bury the hatchet if FC is to survive!

If Brooke sides with her husband Ridge as she always does, Steffy will be impressed by her mother-in-law’s loyalty. They have had their differences over the years especially when it comes to Ridge waffling over Brooke and Steffy’s mom, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

Steffy may never fully approve of Brook, but she will always do what needs to be done to protect her family’s business legacy.

It may be that their warm embrace is a sign that the ice has thawed between Brooke and Steffy, paving the way for a closer business relationship.

This is especially important if and when competing fashion house mayhem explodes—and we fully expect it will.
