Daphne has allowed Ivy to lord over her for weeks keeping her quiet about what she knew.

However, Daphne could not keep this secret any longer now that others are blaming Will as well. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has told Daphne to stay out of it. Daphne just could not stay to watch Electra suffer for no reason.

Electra confronted her aunt as she tried to get rid of the letter. Ivy finally admitted that truth by showing the letter to Electra.
