B&B Spoilers: Poppy Has Awakened Sheila’s Inner Monster

It was the slap that made every viewer of The Bold and the Beautiful cringe. Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) called Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) to meet her at Il Giardino for a little chat about a shared interest, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

Poppy raised Luna by herself, and now that her daughter is a double murderer, she has washed her hands of her.

John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is Luna’s biological dad, and that makes Sheila her gleeful grandmother.

Sheila And Poppy Finally Have A Family Chat

After DNA tests were run on several possible candidates, Finn recently found out that he was Luna’s biological father and told her.

She had been serving house arrest at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont), and he wanted her off his property so badly that he paid someone off to secure a pardon for her.

After she was freed, Luna had nowhere to go, so she ended up visiting Sheila. It took precious little to convince the woman who desperately wants her biological family around that she was her granddaughter, and Sheila has promised not to abandon Luna.

That made Sheila’s first order of business a conversation with Poppy, the woman who lied to everyone about Luna’s paternity and deprived her of knowing her grandchild until now. Sheila and Poppy traded insults and clearly don’t think much of each other.

After Sheila called Poppy a drug and sex addict, Poppy responded by telling her that she had no idea who she was dealing with before cracking Sheila across the face.

Sheila’s Laughter Means Poppy Is Doomed

Sheila responded to being hit in the face with the maniacal laugh that longtime viewers are familiar with. Poppy has awakened the maniacal and diabolical side of Sheila, the part that she has spent the last few years suppressing.

Sheila has been on a pretty believable redemption tour, but there was always going to come a point in time when she would backslide, and here we are.

Sheila will do absolutely anything to protect Luna, and getting rid of Poppy now feels like a great idea. Sheila’s empathy for Poppy turned to immediate disdain once she realized Luna was her grandkid.

Now that Poppy has dared to put a hand on Sheila she probably should be picking out her own burial clothes.
