On April 17, the Tammy Slaton’s sister posted a photo of herself with Brian Lovvorn on her Instagram account. She credited Nicholas Holmes for capturing the moment. Her caption read, “Spring love in the air Brian Lovvorn thank you @nick.knock.lets.bop for taking the picture bestie!!!”

The Arrest and Charges

Last September, reports revealed that Amy Slaton was seen with her new partner, Brian Lovvorn, following an alleged incident where she was bitten by a camel at a local zoo. On that same day, Amy and Brian were arrested for drug possession. They have since been released from jail and are now appearing together on social media. 

Amy’s brother, Chris Combs, bailed Amy and Brian out after their arrest. The incident occurred at a zoo in Tennessee after an employee called the police because Amy had been bitten by a camel.

Upon arrival, the police reported smelling marijuana coming from Amy’s vehicle. A search of the car allegedly uncovered marijuana and mushrooms. Tragically, Amy’s young children were also present in the car at the time.

Consequently, Amy and Brian faced charges of possessing Schedule I and IV drugs, as well as child endangerment. They were taken to the Crockett County jail but were released on a $10,000 bond.

The Man Who Was Involved

Naturally, fans wanted to know more about the man in her life. Amy later pleaded guilty to the drug possession charges. As part of a plea agreement, she avoided jail time, and the child abuse and endangerment charges were also dropped.

Her sentence included mandatory participation in a drug and alcohol program and payment of a $500 fine. Additionally, she was permanently banned from the Tennessee Safari Park in Crockett County.

When news of the plea deal circulated online, many commenters shared their opinions Some pointed out that Amy’s ex-husband, Michael Halterman, could have potentially sought custody of their children following her arrest.
