Hollywood is a fast moving game, even for a Prince, and if you can’t hang onto the spotlight, you get left behind. To this end, a royal expert is suspecting that Harry’s brief visit to the UK might have been to maintain relevance ahead of his upcoming projects with Netflix.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off this year by announcing multiple projects for Netflix.

To keep themselves in the spotlight as often as possible, the couple traveled to Jamaica to attend the opening night of Bob Marley’s “One Love” movie premiere. And of course Harry has jetted to the UK to see his father following his cancer diagnosis.

One might think it out of Harry’s reach to use his father’s sickness for his own personal gain, but when has somebody else’s comfort been in his bingo card?

Speaking of Harry’s in and out travel to the UK, Lady Colin Campbell says it might be another way for Harry to stay in the spotlight.

“My understanding is actually the meeting lasted exactly 12 minutes. Not 30 minutes or 45 minutes and Harry took it upon himself, without an invitation, to get on a plane, fly over and inform the King’s office that he was arriving. One could actually wonder who was the visit for? Was it for Harry? Was it the King? Or was it for Netflix or was it a combination of all three?”

Harry’s visit to the UK not only revealed his deteriorating relationship with his father – less than 30 minutes of talk-time after over 16 months – but his standing with his brother Prince William.

According to royal sources, it was the heir’s wish to keep out of Harry’s path and continue on with his life. Prince William is not interested in any new drama Harry has to offer, so maybe Harry should try again later?
