Janelle Brown Shares Update With Fans

The TLC Sister Wives star admitted that she hasn’t been herself since Garrison Brown’s passing.

She made a promise that she would fulfill after the tragic event. Garrison passed away in early March 2024 from a gunshot wound. His death is still under investigation. His private text conversations with his family and friends were released.

Janelle Brown admitted that she’s been struggling in light of his death. He mentioned that she was concerned about his mental health and the potential of suicide. Garrison previously told Janelle that he gave his firearms to his brother, Gabriel Brown. He was the one who found Garrison.

According to The U.S. Sun, Janelle Brown spoke to the authorities about Garrison’s mental health. She now wishes she “should have gotten Garrison help in the past.” The insider claims that she hasn’t been doing well.

“Janelle’s heartbroken. She’s completely destroyed. She is grieving and mourning his loss privately without sharing her struggles so much with her fans,” the insider shared. “Janelle doesn’t have a big community of people in her world unless she’s with her family, so it is good that her fans are really supportive. People are worried about her. She’s not herself and obviously, it will take some time to process and heal.”

Janelle Brown will focus on her kids, grandkids, and fur babies moving forward. She previously revealed on Instagram that she’s spending more time with her family.

The insider revealed that Janelle promised to focus on her kids amid the “bullsh*t” she’s been dealing with since she separated from Kody Brown in December 2022.

“I know she’s going to spend her life focusing on her kids,” the insider continued. “There will be no more bullsh*t. Wherever her kids go is where Janelle will go – she’s already made it clear. She’s spending more time on checking in with each kid as much as possible physically.”

Kody Brown hasn’t taken this too well. He’s isolating himself and focusing on his needs only. The source claims that the patriarch is in a “very dark place right now” and is “really depressed.” Kody was “standoffish” at Garrison’s memorial.
