The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the Royal Family in 2020 to what was tagged as the “American dream” at the time. And sure, for a while it seemed like it, with very lucrative Netflix and Spotify contracts landing on them shortly after their touchdown in America.
If this wasn’t enough, they were highly sought after public figures and there was rarely a television station that could afford to turn down an opportunity to interview the dynamic duo.
These days, however, the dream is not so bright as it used to be at first, and there are even rumors they might lose it all still. What will Harry and Meghan have left if they lose their Netflix contract too?

They say grass to grace, but many are convinced that the Sussexes are headed towards a grace to grass story.
This year hasn’t favored them even in terms of optics, with The Hollywood Reporter dropping a scathing report accusing Meghan of bullying.
With their latest executive produced project ‘Polo’ receiving all the negative criticisms and very little of the audience love, royal expert Kinsey Schofield has opined that they are starting to lose their value in the eyes of Hollywood’s top players.
“They’ve made so many wrong moves that I don’t think they’re taken seriously anymore,” Schofield told TalkTV.
‘Polo’ was marketed as Harry’s passion project, which explores the behind-the-scenes of what it takes to play polo on a competitive level. While Harry is a polo player himself, he and his wife rarely featured in the limited series.
Since the beginning of this year, Harry and Meghan have been struggling to match the glory of their 2022 docuseries ‘Harry and Meghan,’ leading many to speculate that the couple has no brand outside of royal gossips.
While Harry and Meghan are desperate for a successful rebrand, they initially gained massive attention by talking of their short time within the royal institution as a married couple.
Nevertheless, Harry and Meghan are not yet done and dusted when it comes to their Netflix contract. Who knows? Meghan’s currently untitled cooking show might save the day.
