GH Spoilers: Joss Takes Her Promise To Spencer Seriously, And It Could Come Back To Bite Trina

General Hospital spoilers reveal Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) gave Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) her word when she said she would figure out whether Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was lying and would make her pay. She wanted her friends to enjoy their romantic semester-long trip to Paris together.

Little did she know, she would be stacking new crimes on top of those from the past that the young criminal mastermind has been pretending she doesn’t remember.

With Esme and Spencer having fallen overboard in a struggle, fans are left wondering who might turn up — and who could become fish bait.

Rumor has it Esme is the only party to survive their scuffle, and Joss will join Trina in making sure she pays for her crimes.

Trina is going to be one grief-stricken girl. The hell that Esme has already put her through wasn’t enough. Now she’ll have to suffer the pain of losing Spencer as he is presumed dead when his body never turns up.

Knowing how far they were out into the water, and the currents of the English Channel, it’ll be clear that it’s unlikely Spencer would have survived given the state he was in before he fell overboard — drugged and dopey.

Coming home alone is the last way Trina saw this trip ending — even though it’s going to feel like she’s still trapped on that boat and watching him fall off of it for months to come.

Rumor has it Esme is going to turn up rather quickly, and that’ll leave no question as to where Spencer is. After all, if they have her in custody, there’s no way she has him as a hostage.

Being tried for murder sounds pretty grim, but Joss and Trina know there is nothing that pains Esme more than not being able to see her baby boy.

So when Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) returns to Port Charles in light of his son’s presumed death, it will cripple Esme to know her baby boy is back but she can’t see or hold him. That’ll only be the start of her problems though.

Word on the street is Joss is going to take her promise to Spencer quite seriously in the wake of his death. The last thing she told him was that she would see to it that Esme was dealt with.

So when it seems like circumstantial evidence could lead to her going free instead of being prosecuted for Spencer’s murder, Joss may take matters into her own hands and plan for the end of Esme’s reign of terror before she can inflict any more damage on the people she loves.

Will Joss cross over to the dark side where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is already hanging out? Are they the next Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)?

Is she really capable of killing someone and just walking away — or will she have Dex do it for her? If so, will she loop Trina in or give her plausible deniability?
