General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, February 5 tease angry moms, bad breakups, and inside jobs.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is angry, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) navigates a bad breakup, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) thinks the island attack is an inside job.

General Hospital Spoilers – Angry Moms

At the Collins house, a weeping Laura had been grieving over Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) showed up at her door bearing precious cargo.

She was relieved but angry at the same time, seeing Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) the first time in a couple of years. Nikolas was in tears, saying “Hello Mother” and carrying Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).

But now relief and grief and shock all rolled into one has turned to anger at Nikolas. She wants to know if it has occurred to him that he belongs in prison?

GH Spoilers – Bad Breakups

Lucy is tense as she gets in Martin Gray’s (Michael E. Knight) face and begs him to make up, asking him to just give her another chance.

Lucy was so distracted with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) across the room at the Metro Court when she and Martin were last together, Martin figured she’s not being faithful to him.

In reality she was overseeing the scam that she and Scott are working on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) together, but neither know Tracy sees right through it. Lucy will continue to navigate a bad breakup but Martin is unlikely to budge.

General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Davis Feels Guilty

At the Invader office, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) can tell something’s bothering her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

As she tells her she bets she can make her smile with just one word, Alexis just walks away and gets ready to sit at her desk.

Perhaps Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have not had a chance to talk since he returned from Paris and she doesn’t know her cousin’s dead.

Alexis probably blames herself for not keeping a closer eye on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and watching for signs of her memory returning and changing back. She may blame herself for both Esme’s and Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) deaths.

GH Spoilers – Scott Baldwin Consoles Lucy Coe

Back with Lucy, Scott tries to console her after Martin won’t take her back-and asks is this guy really worth it? Lucy knows Martin would never go along with the scheme they’re cooking and may even warn Tracy about it.

But Tracy already figured it out and she’s just playing along with Scott’s romantic pursuits; will Scott and Lucy get back together after this is all over?

That’s exactly why Martin doesn’t trust her with Scott-he’s heard too many stories of her cheating on her lovers and husbands and messing around!

General Hospital Spoilers – Teaming Up?

In the hotel room where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) tried to hustle the arms dealer O’Neil (Jeff Leaf) Anna now talks to FBI agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) who she knows from the past, and asks if he’ll bring them in, because they can work together.

Anna is still working as a private citizen after her unceremonious forced retirement from the WSB thanks to John Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Jordan’s the Deputy Mayor.

However, Laura had asked Anna to step into the Police Commissioner’s shoes-she hadn’t accepted just yet. Jagger and Anna go way, way back even before Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) came to town, hence their not knowing each other.

GH Spoilers – Inside Job?

As Sonny talks to Dante about the attack on him, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) on his island, Dante questions his thinking it’s an inside job.

It almost has to be, since the attacker knew the ins and outs of the security system and how to get into the house and back out without being detected.

The only question is, was this just a lousy gunman, or was the shooter missing on purpose as to only be sending a message? It seems very similar to the attack at the Metro Court pool, with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) being caught by a ricochet!
