GH Spoilers: How Deep Will Carly Get with Jagger Before Jason Tells Her The Truth?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is being forced to work for Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) as a matter of keeping Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) safe from persecution.

Right now, Jason doesn’t like the situation, but he’d do anything for Carly. He doesn’t trust Jagger, and that’s only going to intensify when he learns that Carly has gotten wrapped up with him.

But it’s not going to be as simple as Jason telling Carly the truth and warning her to stay away from him.

In fact, Jagger may expressly warn Jason not to utter a word against him to Carly. Just what does he have up his sleeve and how long can this go on before Jason intervenes?

If Jason talks about his arrangement with Jagger to anyone, that would invalidate the terms of their agreement.

Jagger has promised he will file charges against Carly if Jason makes one cross move in crying to alert anyone to why he’s working for the FBI.

Being an informant is the least of his concerns now though. He never imagined he would be battling Jagger as his pseudo-hostage, and now as best friend to the woman Jagger has his eyes on in a completely different way than before.

Carly may have just happened upon Jagger being brutally beaten by two thugs in an alley near the waterfront, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to use this opportunity to strike while the iron’s hot.

If he can fool Carly into engaging with him in any way, he will use it to his advantage.

Carly may come to trust Jagger if he shows her another side of himself and seems as though he’s not interested in digging up dirt on Jason or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) anymore. All the while, she’ll have no idea he’s actually digging for more dirt on her.

Jason is all about keeping Carly happy, but will he consider it true happiness if he knows the man she is falling for is lying to her?

Will he trust that Jagger even has good intentions in growing romantically involved with the woman he’s been targeting?

While Jagger is currently playing it safe by acting like he needs to keep Carly at arms’ length because of her ties to Jason and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the truth is he knows she’s a criminal and it would be unethical and illegal for him to let her off the hook.
