GH Spoilers: Guilt Eats Sam Alive As Jason Is Cleared Of All Wrongdoing And Comes Home

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has come home, but not quite. Returning to Port Charles and being captured on video footage was enough to let everyone he loves know he’s back — and far from six feet under.

But he hasn’t been able to make contact with some of the most important people in his life and explain to them what really happened to him two years ago.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam McCall Is Just As Guilty.

Fleeing from the police on his favorite footbridge and jumping into the icy waters below has seemingly left many of his loved ones convinced that he must be guilty.

For whatever reason, they’re treating Jason like a stranger and acting as though escaping the authorities is out of character for him.

General Hospital Spoilers: Guilt Eats Sam Alive As Jason Is Cleared Of All Wrongdoing And Comes HomeWill she feel the brunt of her behavior and the assumptions she made when she learns Jason was innocent the entire time and being coerced into doing the wrong thing out of love for everyone back home?

GH Spoilers — Jason Morgan’s Not Guilty!

While we know that Jason isn’t guilty of shooting Dante, no one else does. Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has heard it from his father’s lips — and it appears he believes him, much the way Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) do.

What will it take for the police to determine Jason wasn’t the person who put two bullets in Dante’s chest?

Will John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) play a role in ensuring Jason is soon found to be innocent, or is he going to drag this out until the PCPD figures it out instead?

Either way, the news that Jason didn’t shoot Dante — but instead tried to save his life — will send shockwaves through Sam and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

General Hospital Spoilers —Say Sam Morgan Is!

It makes perfect sense that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was taken aback by Sam’s harsh tone regarding Jason. The way she questioned her allegiance to the family was warranted, as far as Sam was concerned. Dante may not survive, and it could have all been Jason’s fault.

She didn’t know any different at the time. But Carly knew, and Carly will insist that Sam should have known, too.

In reality, Sam knows this, but she needed someone to blame and Jason was the easy target — as was Carly.

Will she be able to cope with the guilt she feels for not standing by Jason the same way Carly did — the woman she could never quite measure up to in his eyes?

GH Spoilers —It’s Complicated

While Sam might want to forgive Jason for being gone the last two years, she may still hold onto some lingering feelings about the situation he has put everyone in because of his absence.

If he hadn’t agreed to go along with this plan to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out, then it’s likely Dante never would have been in any position to be shot.

It may be irrational for Sam to think that way while not acknowledging it’s Dante’s line of work that led to him being shot, but she’s going to be grieving for a while.

Will she take that grief out on Jason instead of Dante — who is fighting for his life? If so, we can bet Jason is going to let her dish it out.

How will she manage feeling so guilty for assuming the worst about her ex-husband while also feeling so guilty for forgiving him without hearing Dante’s side of the story?

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
