General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will reportedly incur some kind of change in his condition this week when his family rushes to be by his side.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) are rumored to be the first who arrive by his side.

But is this change ahead going to bring the resolution everyone has needed, or will it only serve to muddy the waters even more? Dante is no liar.

Everyone can trust that whatever he has to say if and when he wakes up can be taken on board as the truth.

But some people may have their own suspicions that there is more to Dante’s story than meets the eye.

Rumor has it, Dante’s family will rush to be by his side later this week when changes in his condition are reported.

We’re either going to face a surprise death — or Dante is going to wake up. We’re betting on the latter since Dante is a major veteran character and there has been no mention of Zamprogna leaving the show.

Word on the street is that Dante is going to wake up believing he’s coherent when he’s actually confused — big time! Could he point the finger of blame at Jason?

Might he recall seeing him on the pier, and being shot, but not who’s to blame? As his brain tries to make sense of his memories, Dante could cast blame on the wrong guy.

There are also rumors swirling that Dante will seem like somewhat of a stranger when he returns to consciousness.

Could the shots to his heart have done some kind of permanent damage? Could the downtime in a coma have impacted his nervous system and left him as someone his family won’t recognize? Will he suffer from amnesia?

We hope not, because Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) had quite enough of that in her family already last year. Still, the gossip mill suggests Dante is going to wake up a far cry from the person he was when he got shot.

In a painful turn of events, it may be Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) who is forced to bring everyone back to reality — even if it means going up against the man she loves.

Dante may wake up remembering his affection for her, but still being quite a different man than she was accustomed to. Hey, trauma changes people.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has certainly taught her that most recently. Will Sam be caught in the crosshairs of Dante’s persecution of her ex-husband?
