Despite his pain, George tries to hide it from his family so they won’t worry-as the memorial service begins, George gazes at a photo and suddenly feels unwell.

When Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) realize what’s happening, they urge George to go to the hospital.

George complies and undergoes a thorough check-up but the news he receives is alarming – he has a brain condition caused by repeated head injuries, and it could be life-threatening.

Elaine pays a visit to Yolande and feels relieved to hear that Yolande has disclosed the truth about what happened to her to Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker). Elaine stands by Yolande, but Yolande insists on facing the church meeting alone.

Elaine has reservations about this decision, given the circumstances, but Yolande remains adamant that she doesn’t require anyone’s presence.

Elaine worries that Yolande might struggle to provide the necessary details for the church officials to take action against the pastor, or worse, that she might not be believed.

Billy felt remorse, worried that he was becoming like his father; Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) offered Billy advice, to keep a close eye on Stevie to uncover his true intentions.

Despite Honey’s belief that children should have a say in getting to know their grandfather, Billy remained skeptical of his father due to their troubled history.
