Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has not always won. But he has willed himself to victory on many occasions and believes a return to his famous mother’s (Katherine Chancellor, Jeanne Cooper) hometown is part of a personal redemption plan.

Victor is using Chancellor-Winters’ internal strife as a device with the intent of providing his wayward youngest son with yet another opportunity to prove himself. Tucker is encouraged by the woman he loves to use CW’s issues to reconnect with his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has often been disconnected from his father. But he is willing to give the Moustache some room because the McCall Unlimited is very enticing.

Victor knows that obtaining Tucker’s company and keeping it independent of Newman Enterprises would have multiple benefits. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would not be Adam’s supervisor. That would allow Grossman’s character to fly independently.

Tucker knows that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) wants what is best. That warms his heart because it proves she still loves him. Devon will take control of the business his biological father built. That would establish a new paradigm in their relationship.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Pursuing Redemption

Tucker started off on the wrong soapy foot. He staged a grand re-entrance to GC society when arriving in a helicopter on the Abbott estate during a family event.

Ashley heard about the stunt and projected general disinterest. She did not want to allow herself to be hurt again and attempted to resist Tucker’s clear pull. Eventually, he proved irresistible.

St. John’s addition to the cast has been seamless. This daytime veteran has revived a character that was dormant since Katherine’s passing in 2013. Tucker’s pursuit of redemption is endearing, fun, and unpredictable. It is good soap.

Y&R is celebrating its milestone fiftieth anniversary. While Braeden did not join the cast until seven years into the show’s run, he is unarguably one of the main reasons why this show is legendary in the annals of soap history.

Just as Braeden is the star of this show, so too is Victor the bright light in GC. So, fans expect Victor to defeat Tucker. But twists are part of the genre. So, they will keep watching Y&R.
