The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease shocking corporate moves at Jabot. Might Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) return to Jabot to replace Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)?

Getting Adam away from Jabot and back over to Newman Enterprises was a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) conspiracy from start to finish, and Victor drafted Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to assist. Kyle was to sabotage Adam and work under the radar so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would fire Adam, since he was the one who hired him.5

What Victor accomplished with this underhanded move was cause trouble between father and son, grandson-in-law and granddaughter, although Adam did wind up leaving.

Jack was very upset with Kyle for undermining Adam and working with Victor to do it, and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) wasn’t super-pleased with Kyle either. But that was only one of the problems beleaguering Kyle and Summer’s marriage in recent months, it was just a spark to start what promises to be a dumpster fire.

Y & R Spoilers – Billy Abbott’s Power Play

The stage is now set for Billy to make a power play during the week of February 20, and it might, oddly enough, be a return to the corporate grind. Billy has been struggling ever since he left the corporate world he was so previously anxious to leave behind, even feeling like an outsider at Chancellor-Winters. But he proved to himself he was with the wrong partner-Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) became all work and no play, disdainful of his light hearted podcast “The Grinning Soul”.

It became even worse between them when he reached out to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and became her savior, which Lily deemed to be a “savior complex”. But now he can’t even return to the podcast world, at least not with Chelsea, whose therapist nixed the idea of co-hosting a mental health podcast this soon.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Circling Back Around?

With Adam out as co-CEO at Jabot, there’s a need for a replacement, and Billy is more family-oriented than he was previously as the wandering loner. He’s been very supportive of Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) bonding with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). The Abbotts are going through a lot of drama and dysfunction of their own lately, with Jack kicking Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) out over her disagreement over his romance.

Billy has been willing to give Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a second chance, knowing how it is to be a family pariah. Jack needs both a co-CEO at work and an ally who supports Diane at home, so Billy’s return to Jabot would be perfect timing!
