Y&R Spoilers: Sally And Summer At War Again

The Young And The Restless: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Summer and Sally going at it for old times’ sake. From the moment Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) arrived in Genoa City, Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) has seen her as a rival. Sally meant no harm to Summer in the beginning, but eventually lashed out at her and caused her to move to Italy with the idea that she was helping Kye Abbott (Michael Mealor) hold onto his little boy, Harrison.

However, it was Summer who started this rivalry, and more than two years later, it is still going strong. Summer most definitely does not like that Sally is dating her dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), after she already dated Kyle’s dad, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but that is what is happening and Sally tells her that she is just going to have to live with it. She also tells Summer something else.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Can’t Wait To Spill

As the two women have a showdown at Crimson Lights, Y&R spoilers show Sally informs Summer that she is having Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby, but she and Nick are still together for the moment and Nick is ok with all this.

“This news definitely irks Summer on a deeper level that she doesn’t really want to admit,” Alison Lanier said in the March 6, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “At first, she was trying to understand her dad’s relationship with Sally since Summer loves him so much, but with these latest discoveries, she’s convinced Sally is just bad for Nick.”

To that end, Summer goes running to her grandmother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She tells her exactly what has been going on between Sally, Adam, and Nick, and Nikki is quite disturbed by this news as she worries for her son (but as usual, not her stepson).

“Nikki wishes there was a way to get Nicholas to walk away before things get even more complicated,” Lanier said. “Summer then says they may have a plan.”

Undoubtedly, this plan will somehow go awry, as this is a soap opera after all and that’s how things like this work. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
