According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Claire could be a Spectra. It was previously assumed that she was related to Nikki Newman, but fans have a new theory.

The user Isnice posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Claire’s identity is so obvious. (Potential Spoiler.) Claire is a Spectra.”

Claire brought up her “great aunt” to Nikki more than once. However, when it comes to talking about her parents, she stays mum.

She tells Nikki that she wants to focus on the present moment rather than her past. Claire is the type of woman who’s more focused on business than her family.

“The only person I have heard regularly talking about one [aunt] on any soap is Sally. Sally’s great aunt who had the biggest influence on her was the original Sally Spectra. Sally and Claire are either cousins or long-lost sisters,” the original poster noted.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Claire is a slick-talking woman who knows how to charm Nikki.

She might be a spy hired to keep a close eye on Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Some fans argued that Claire might be too sophisticated to be one of the Spectras since they’re known for grifting.

“I hope not OP, we don’t need for Sally to have any more connections in GC, she needs to go back to LA, or wherever her Grams and sister CoCo lives,” a user argued.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Claire Eve Howard 2.0?

The Young and the Restless spoilers also suggest that Claire could also be Even Howard (Margaret Mason).

She was involved with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when she worked for him as his assistant. They conceived a child after a one-night stand and told Victor that her son Cole belonged to him.

The user YRFANATIC posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “I think Claire is Eve Howard 2.0.” She might have a dark side. Eve is a well-known villain who tries to kill Nikki and ruin her marriage to Victor. Claire could be Eve’s long-lost daughter.

The reason why Claire traveled to Genoa City was to take Victor down on behalf of her mother. Yet, she would have to be older than Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), which quashes this rumor.
