Still, Victor has a way with words and could convince his son to keep quiet. After all, the Newman patriarch is only doing this to test his children’s loyalty.

Victor could amend the reasoning to boost Nick’s ego and tell him he was only doing it to test Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) loyalty, as he knows Nick can be trusted. Will Nick fall for this trick and keep his father’s secret in the interim?
