This not only launched a love triangle between the rockstar, Cricket, and Red but also created a massive rivalry between Christine and Phyllis that still lingers today.

Danny recently made it clear that he still has feelings for Ms. Blair, and the chemistry between them during last year’s holiday season produced massive sparks.

Still, Christine was technically with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) at that point; however, unbeknownst to fans, the two were on the verge of a breakup.

Sure, Christine is trying to patch things up with Paul now, but viewers know it is highly unlikely that they will not, since actress Lauralee Bell is still with the show, and actor Doug Davidson is not.

Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently conducted an online poll on their website for fans, asking them if they were “rooting” for a Christine/Danny romantic reunion. The results were shocking, considering the couple’s popularity in the 80s and 90s.

According to the poll, 59% of participants are against a reunion between Canny, while 41% would love to see the old super couple rekindle their romance.
