Y&R Spoilers: Alternative To Devon’s Safety Net? – Another Tucker Option

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has had a lot of eyes on him recently. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), in particular, wants to talk him out of purchasing McCall Unlimited.

The Moustache does not have Devon’s best interests in mind, even considering Victor’s accurate assessments of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Victor is for Victor, which Devon knows. Braeden’s character wants to take control of Tucker’s company as a second-chance opportunity for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

However, Devon’s head is spinning as too many voices are in his head, including Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), Jill Abbot Atkinson (Jess Walton), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Adam and others. Everyone except Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) has offered their two soapy cents.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Chancellor-Winters Dispute

This is a beef that may have been resolvable if Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) were still alive. If Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) were still alive, she would have never let her children do battle in court against each other.

But Devon and Lily have struggled in ways seen and unseen since Dru passed many years ago and Neil died in more recent times. While Lily has her biological father, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), he is not often in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Devon was not opposed to Tucker when he suddenly returned to GC. But some of the antics he has pulled broke Devon’s trust.

Y&R Spoilers – Why Pursue McCall Unlimited?

Devon reconsidered Tucker’s offer after Abby had a conversation with her mother. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has fallen for Tucker again after trying to think her way out of doing so.

Ashley’s masterful plan included purchasing Tucker’s outstanding corporate debt and then using that leverage to convince him to pitch McCall Unlimited to Devon. James’ character thought it was a trick. But Abby relayed Ashley’s involvement and perspective.

Devon believes that he could lose the legal challenge he is making against CW. If that happens, he will still want out of the merged company he agreed to become part of in the recent past. So, having a company of his own, McCall Unlimited, would serve as a backup or safety net option.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Plenty Of Cash Available For New Company

Assume that Devon can not win his legal argument. He could still take the lucrative buyout Lily offered following CW’s initial public stock offering. Another assumption involves the stock offering being successful and the buyout still being available.

Tucker could sell to Victor or another party if Devon rejects his dad’s offer.

Devon and Tucker would have plenty of cash and could start a new company. If it centers on their mutual love of music, then Devon could agree to work with Tucker. If both men believe in family, they can push themselves to trust each other on Y&R.
