The Young And The Restless Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that the show’s 50th anniversary should provide some incredible entertainment and drama! Y&R spoilers state that the actual Y&R show commemorating their 50th anniversary will start airing on Wednesday, March 22nd, even though the daytime drama’s “official” anniversary date is Sunday, March 26th. The bicentennial gala, which is the focal point of the soap’s birthday, will likely extend for days in Genoa City.

When it comes to ET’s special, it’ll take place at 8 p.m. (EST) on Monday, March 27th, on CBS. ET correspondent Nischelle Turner will host the entire spectacular from the Y&R set.

Fans will also get a tour of the show’s backstage area. In addition, the ET special will review the biggest angles and arcs from the Y&R over the past 50 years. The show will also offer tributes for the late and great Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) and Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor).
