Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint there’s trouble in paradise for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Genoa City’s newest “IT” couple is basking in their romance; however, fans can’t help but wonder if Sharon’s friendship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chance’s friendship with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) might ruin things for the seemingly happy twosome.

Many Y&R fans were surprised some weeks ago when Sharon and Chance did the deed at Crimson Lights. After all, the couple had been dancing around a relationship for months, with no real “action” involved. In fact, before their steamy love scene at the coffee shop, many viewers questioned if this couple had any chemistry.

Another factor was just how close Chance and Summer had gotten since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) “death”. Chancellor was the lead cop on the investigation and became a confidant of sorts to the grieving daughter.

There were certainly sparks between Ms. Newman and the officer, and as Summer was married, fans were on the edge of their seats wondering what “could happen” between the two. Now that she’s suddenly single, and getting closer to the cop, it seems inevitable that Chance and Summer could cross a line while he’s dating Sharon.

Much like his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Adam tends to flip-flop in and out of love with Sharon. While they have established a nice friendship now, Sharon and Newman have been known to cross a line at the drop of a hat.

Their bond is strong; the history they share is out of this world; and fireworks explode when these two are in a relationship. For the longest time, Sharon couldn’t stay away from Adam, and vice versa; their connection plagued most of her other relationships, including her marriage to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

Now that Adam has zero links to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), how long will it be before he gravitates towards Sharon, especially since they are working so closely together?
