General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has been through a lot lately.
It seems that she would have been much better off if Brando Corbin (ex-Johnny Wactor) had been there to protect her. However, Brando has been gone for a while. Why did Brando leave General Hospital?
General Hospital Spoilers – Why Is Brando Corbin Not Helping His Wife?
General Hospital Spoilers reveal that before Brando’s exit, he had just become Sasha’s guardian. Brando loved Sasha beyond distraction. Brando saved Sasha when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) tried to kill her.
Brando and Sasha had everything they could ever want until they lost their son. It took a lot to bring Sasha back from that but Brando stood by her.
Sasha’s second breakdown was much worse and Brando having power of attorney over her was the only thing that kept her from going to a mental institution.
Unfortunately, Brando passed away before Sasha was well enough to take over control of her finances, etc. Brando was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.
GH Spoilers – Brando Corbin And Sasha Gilmore Were At Dinner
Brando and Sasha were at dinner when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) went out the back door. Brando followed her to protect her but ended up being attacked himself.
However, once Brando got to the hospital, everyone thought he was going to be okay until they realized that Brando had been poisoned. When this discovery was made, it was already too late.
Brando ended up being one of the victims of the Hook Killer. Of course, it was later revealed that Heather Webber (Allie Mills) was the killer.

General Hospital Spoilers – Johnny Wactor Spoke On His GH Exit
Wactor learned in July 2022 that he had been let go from the show. However, he didn’t learn until later what was going to happen to his character.
Wactor told Soap Opera Digest that his manager had called and said, ‘Hey, this is what’s happened, I was like, ‘Oh, okay. Well, I wasn’t expecting that today, but I’m about to hop on a plane. I’ll deal with it when I get back.’ Later, I read the scripts and it was like, ‘Okay, they killed me off.’ The following week, I wrapped my movie on Tuesday, flew back [to L.A.] Wednesday morning, got tested for Covid at GH on Wednesday, and then I filmed 60 pages on Thursday and 55 pages on Friday and that was my last six episodes of GH.”
