What Happened To Brando Corbin On General Hospital?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Brando Corbin is still very missed in the land of Port Charles. Played by actor Johnny Wactor, he entered the soap opera in January 2020 playing the cousin of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

However, his name was first mentioned in the summer of 2019 when the mob boss was looking to protect Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and pawned him off as Brando’s son so they could lie about him being related. Everyone thought Brando was dead at that point in time, but it turned out he was very much alive.

With Mr. Corbin’s arrival on the GH scene, his gold-digging, opportunist mom, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) dived into storylines as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin Had A Heart Of Gold

While fans didn’t know what to think of Brando at first, as time went on, he proved to be a loyal and good person.

Sonny set up a garage for him to own and help him out, and while he was initially romantically linked to Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos), which was a one-night stand, he ended up in a beautiful romance with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) some months later after their one-night stand resulted in a pregnancy.

GH Spoilers – Brando Corbin’s Heartache & Passing

Brando’s time in Port Charles was more than a little complicated. He “worked” for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but it was really all a cover.

Still, when he found out that Sasha was pregnant, he desperately tried to get out of the mob business to establish a good environment for his child.

He and Sasha ended up getting married, and then little Liam Corbin was born in November 2021. Sadly, some weeks later he passed away, due to brain damage. Both parents were devastated, and Sasha ended up turning back to drugs as a way to cope.

Still, with Brando’s love and support, she was able to turn her life around. Unfortunately, less than a year later in September 2022, Sasha suffered another loss when Brando was stabbed twice by The Hook serial killer, dying due to the poison in the hook.
